I have to tell you I thought it was great as did Devon, but man was it a tear jerker at the end!!! Yes, I admit I cried my stinking eyes out! The ending just really got to me! Yeah, I know... I'm a dork!! Well not much else to report. So, have a wonderful evening. It's suppose to be super hot in Philly once again tomorrow, so Devon and I are pool bound for the day! :yay:

Don't worry, you are not alone, we saw it today too and I started crying. I could hear my sister sniffling too so I think she might've been crying too. LOL!

We saw it today too! i loved it! I loved all the references to the past movies, and the tie ins. I guess the bear was in Up (the little girl in the apartment when the house floats by, the bear is on the floor) and I heard that a character from the upcoming Cars 2 is also in it, but I wasn't watching closely enough. The end was pretty bittersweet! I'm hoping that they'll have a box set of the 3 out by Christmas!

Hey Reese! Just catching up on all my subs this afternoon!

Just finished reading about your ADR's, plane tickets, and Toy Story 3!!!

First about the ADR's, I am soooo glad that you got what you wanted! Le Cellier sounds amazing, I've always wanted to try it! I can't wait to hear how you liked it once you get back from your trip in December! All of the others sounded great too! I tried to get into Sci-Fi but since we changed our dates, they were completely booked. Actually, mostly EVERYTHING was completely booked during our entire trip. We actually walked into MK one day & right beside Guest Relations was a big sign that said "Here are some of our recommendations for you for Counter Service today...since ALL of the Table Service restaurants are booked for the day." I was completely in shock! It was nice of Disney to post some CS recommendations for guests though.

About Southwest...grrr...don't really know what to tell you! When I originally booked our flight (it was about 2 weeks prior to our trip) I would have had to pay $1200 for 3 tickets there & back...two days later, it went down to $712, then next day went back up to $965. I don't understand the price differences. I've heard that 6 months prior & then 30 days prior are the best rates. I'm not sure why they don't have cheaper airfare available for you right now. I would wait about a week & try again. Our flight from Pittsburgh Int'l airport was about 2 1/2 hours as well, so if I were you, I wouldn't pay more than $120 per ticket each way. Just my personal opinion! :) I got $99 flights there and $119 back. It was sooo nice to have the free baggage as well. I will say that I preferred our plane, pilots, and flight attendants from AirTran. I just think their customer service was much, much better than Southwest. But when it comes down to us being on 1 income now, the price difference was just ridiculous...it would have cost at least $1400 to fly with Airtran and then pay for baggage on top of that (usually about $65 there & $65 back for us). It just wasn't worth the extra money to have better customer service! lol Also, not sure if this will help or not, but my parents just booked a vacation for mid-September. The airfare rates were pretty high, but they just came down last week...so I guess that would be about 12 weeks prior to their trip. It would probably make me nervous waiting that long, but if you can save some $$$, I would wait & see. I'm thinking sometime towards the end of summer, their rates will drop. Also, call & ask about changing if you find something cheaper...I did that & it cost me $65 per ticket...it was worth it because I saved hundreds & paid $195 to change...but needless to say, I was extremely PO-ed that I had to pay "cancellation fees" when I was just changing to get cheaper airfare!

Sorry, that was quite a lot of rambling about airfare! lol

I can't wait to see Toy Story 3...I think I'm going on Monday! We live in a very small town & only have one tiny movie theater, so I'm hoping they aren't sold out. If they are, I'll probably travel to another town close-by because they have multiple theaters & I'm sure have Toy Story 3 playing at every one! :goodvibes I didn't know there was a Cars 2 movie coming out either, I'm excited about that! My son absolutely LOVES Cars. Its the only movie where he will watch the entire movie! All other ones lose his interest after about 45-60 minutes!

Hey Hope!!! Welcome back!!! I can't wait for you to start your trip report! Your title has be very interested!!! :cutie:

Now for airfare!!! I am so torn what to do!!! I want to just book with Air Tran now b/c right now tickets are $100 each way which isn't too bad, and add in the baggage fee which will be a total of another $30 (only checking one bag for the both of us) its still cheaper then SW at this point. But for some reason I have a funny feeling SW will come down some! Either way when my friend Jen and her son, who is coming with us gets back from Alabama is 2 weeks we are booking! I'm nervous about waiting too long! Obviously, I'm a planner and like to have everything in order! :rotfl:

Hey all! I feel like I haven't been on here in ages, but it's only been a week!!! :rotfl2: Anyhow, just thought I drop in an say hi!!! This is my last week of grad school and things have been very hectic! So come Monday I will have more time to devote to my Disney addiction!!! :lmao: So until then... Enjoy your weekend!

Oh and P.S. Just noticed that my ticker says 5 months and 7 days until Disney!!! :cool1: That means in one week we will have less then 5 months to go!!! YAY!!!!

Thanks Sarah!!! I have to say that Devon is quite the ham!!! :rotfl: Yep on 6 more days and we hit the 5 month mark!

So what days are you going to Universal in August?

great pics! Devon is such a cutie. You are in for it when he becomes a teenager. Especially with his dance moves.

Hi Reese!

Devon is adorable!! I think that you are going to be in trouble when he gets older!! :goodvibes

I cried like at baby at TS3 so you were not alone in that. I can't wait to go see it again.:lovestruc

I hope that you can airfare for the price that you want. We just purchased our tickets home and it is so nice to have that all taken care of. Now I can concentrate for paying the trip down.

Have a great weekend.

Trish

Thanks so much!!! He literally had us cracking up the whole night with his dancing. I had people coming up to that I didn't even know telling me that Devon was making their night! :rotfl2:

Oh my those are such great pictures... Devon is so darn cute!!!!

Thanks so much! I can't wait to see the professional pics and the video from the wedding, b/c they were permanently at Devon's side the entire reception! :rotfl:

Hey Trish!!! Thanks so much! I'm told often that I am gonna me in trouble when he gets older! LOL! :lmao: I can only imagine!

I am glad I was not the only mom crying during that movie! :rotfl2:

I sure hope airfare comes down soon too!!!! regardless, we are booking once my friend Jen, who is going with us, is back from Panama on July 13th. Fingers crossed we get a good deal!!!

Hi everyone, Happy 4th of July!!! Haven't really posted much on here b/c I been super busy! I am SUPER HAPPY to note that I am OFFICIALLY DONE Grad School, so hopefully I will have a little bit more time on my hands now. :goodvibes

Not much to mention in the trip planning area... Other then the fact we are now under the 5 month mark!!! :cool1: Got to be honest, I know we still have a WAY to go before the trip actually gets here, but man time is going pretty quickly! Oh, I also added $$$ to my Disney gift card for the trip! I was really easy to add the $$$ to it to. I think this might be a whole lot more efficient then the Disney $$$.

So, on the home front, I got a call from Devon's babysitter on Wednesday afternoon that there was a minor accident at the pool!!1  After my initial heart attack of hearing these words, I come to find out that Devon was accidentally hit in the face with an aluminum baseball bat!!! :sad2: YES you heard that right!!! I work in the city and take the train to work, so I quickly hopped on the next train to rush home to my baby. Long story short, he was a trooper!!! After 3 stitches to the center of the forehead... Devon learnt a valuable lesson that day!!! DO NOT walk near someone with a BAT in their hands!!! :confused3 I do have pictures so you know I will be posting them.

Enjoy your day everyone!!! :)

Oh my gosh!! I hope that Devon recovers quickly!!!

Congrats on finishing up Grad School!! What a relief that must be!!:worship:

I'm so jealous that you can add $$$ to your GC...we don't have a Disney Store near us, so my only option is to purchase them at $25 or $50 increments...I do have a few hidden away...but it would be so nice just to have one.

I hope that you and Devon have had a wonderful 4th of July!!

Trish

Enjoying your PTR. Just found it today and read the whole thing. Congrats on graduating grad school. Your little guy is adorable. I loved the pics of him dancing at the wedidng. You are lucky to have a Disney Store close by, the closest one to me is about 5 hours away. Can't wait to hear more.
