Hip Hip Hooray for Christmas Vacation... Disney Style!!! A Dec 2010 PTR

So excited.... Why do you ask??? Well because I signed on to the DIS today and realized that in exactly 6 months from today I will be in Disney World!!!

Yep the ticker says 6 months till Christmas Vacation at AKL!!! Gosh I just love the sounds of that!!!

Well, don't got much else to report so I won't keep you all!!! The beach was great over the Memorial Day Weekend and I am super excited that I have the awesome tan!!!

Good luck making ADR's...don't stress too much over it. If you don't get your first choice, just go for your second choice...then wait a few months & something might open up @ your first choice! I was so stressed over it (as you know...lol) and I was able to book ADR's only about 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time. I'm sure its busier around Christmastime, but I'm sure there are still plenty of cancellations! So if you don't get something, just keep checking back!

Yay for ADR time! Mine's not for another couple Saturdays, but I read somewhere that some people are able to make them early online, so you might try. It figures that the one day of the week I don't have to be up early... I will be calling Disney Dining!

Hey there! I'm with you of course my ADR is on a Sunday when I don't usually have to get up early too!!! Figures!!!

I have saw that to about the adr's... Shhh!!!! I have been making my ADRs for some of the harder to get places already due to that little flaw!!!


Can't wait till everything is all planned out!!! But the question is what to do to pass the time after that??? I so still have to book my airfare, so I guess that's the next item on the agenda to take care of once ADR's are all finalized!!

I know Linds, I am so happy that I got everything we wanted!!! Especially LeCellier! I been trying to get in there for years! Now that the ADR's are all done it make the trip seem that much closer! It's funny, when I was making my ressies, I realized as I was making my ADR's that I was doing the same thing this time last year for our Sept, 2009 trip!

Hi Reese! Don't you just love having your ADR's made? I know that I do. You are going to love Le Cellier. We are eating there at 6:20 the same evening as you. Please leave some of that yummy cheedar cheese soup and pretzel bread behind for me. Seriously, I could make a meal out of just that.

Nope, Dev still has 2 weeks left. He is not done till June 18!!!

I just keep telling myself that by the time I get done with the anniversary party for my parents I will be under 150, then I just have to find another date to focus on that is closer... Like Alec bday, the kids starting school, Halloween.... You get the idea...

We'll also be staying at AKL but 11/28-12/4. We received two pins codes too so we upgraded from POFQ and are super excited to be at a deluxe!

I'm so excited to stay at AKL!!! It is your 1st time staying there as well??? Did you make a location request for your room? I hope we get a good location. I was pretty vague when I made my request... Just said I want to be close to the lobby and an elevator. We'll see. I hoping that at check in that realize it's my birthday and hook a girl up!!! Hey everyone, hope all is well and you are enjoying your weekend! As I type I am sitting here cheering on the USA in the world cup!!!

Anyway, just wanted to give you a quick update... For every one of my previous trips to Disney World I always start buying Disney $$$ about 6 months out b/c I found that it is an excellent way to save for my upcoming trip. Well as I am sure most of you know the Disney $$$ are not sold anymore which really have me thinking about what I was going to do to save $$$ for our December trip. So, I went to the Disney store and inquired about the Disney Gift card. My concerning regarding the gift card was that I didn't want to have multiple cards. To my surprise the cast member told me that I could keep adding funds to the card whenever I wanted that all I had to do was let the cast member know that you was the reload the card!!! I was pretty excited about this! The design on the card is Toy Story 3!!!

While I loved the Disney $$$, I think the 1 gift card will be so much better and easier to carry around. Just thought I share.
