Really do Disney Store near you? That Stinks!!! I'm not sure if you can add funds online or not. Let me know what you find out!

Hey everyone, hope all is well and you are enjoying your weekend! As I type I am sitting here cheering on the USA in the world cup!!!

Anyway, just wanted to give you a quick update... For every one of my previous trips to Disney World I always start buying Disney $$$ about 6 months out b/c I found that it is an excellent way to save for my upcoming trip. Well as I am sure most of you know the Disney $$$ are not sold anymore which really have me thinking about what I was going to do to save $$$ for our December trip. So, I went to the Disney store and inquired about the Disney Gift card. My concerning regarding the gift card was that I didn't want to have multiple cards. To my surprise the cast member told me that I could keep adding funds to the card whenever I wanted that all I had to do was let the cast member know that you was the reload the card!!! I was pretty excited about this! The design on the card is Toy Story 3!!!

While I loved the Disney $$$, I think the 1 gift card will be so much better and easier to carry around. Just thought I share.

I'm so excited to stay at AKL!!! It is your 1st time staying there as well??? Did you make a location request for your room? I hope we get a good location. I was pretty vague when I made my request... Just said I want to be close to the lobby and an elevator. We'll see. I hoping that at check in that realize it's my birthday and hook a girl up!!! I girl can dream right!!!

This is our first time at AKL too. We've stayed off site and at POFQ. I haven't made any room requests yet, we'd like to be close to the lobby and bus stop. So many people say they've gotten upgrades that I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a savannah room upgrade. With early December being slower and your birthday, hopefully you'll get an upgrade.

I know I loved the Disney $$$... They were so fun! And such a great way to save... I would pick up $10-20 every pay leading up to my trip!!! I'm so hoping that it is easy to add the $$$ to the card every week as they assured me it would be...

Hey Dana, yeah, it seems like evey trip report or review I have read on AKL the guest received an upgrade!!! My hope is to just be close to the lobby and the bus stop as well!!! B/c at the end of the day, Devon is usually exhausted and will fall asleep on the bus, and I don't want to have to wake him up to walk to miles to our room!

Well today is the day that Southwest Airlines is SUPPOSE to release their airfare through December!!! My fingers are crossed that this still happens and that the rates are cheap!!! Cross your fingers and toes for me here people I WANT to get my airfare booked and over with my weeks end!!!


On another note, this is Devon's last week of school!!! I can not believe my little boy will be going into the third grade! Anyway, Devon is done school at 9:30a on Friday morning so I plan to pick him up from school take him out to breakfast, go to his dentist appointment then head straight to the movies to see TOY STORY 3!!! He has been talking about this day for months! Matter to fact he received a gift card to the movies for his birthday from one of his friends in January and he has been holding on to it since then to use it for this occasion! How cute is he?!?!?!

That's about all I have time for now.... Have to hurry up and get ready for work.

Oh, P.S. Only 1 more week of school after this and a graduate for GRAD SCHOOL!!! YAY!!! FINALLY!!!

Well today is the day that Southwest Airlines is SUPPOSE to release their airfare through December!!! My fingers are crossed that this still happens and that the rates are cheap!!! Cross your fingers and toes for me here people I WANT to get my airfare booked and over with my weeks end!!!

Linds, would you believe that the cheapest flight to Orlando from Philly on SW in $145 1 way per person!!!! This is nuts!!! When we went in Sept we literally paid that much round trip per person!!! Guess I'll be waiting a few weeks to see if it comes down any!!! I am so looking forward to spending the day with Devon and seeing TS3!!! I hope it is as funny as the first 2!!! Thanks so much!!! I really can not believe how fast time has gone!!! I am so looking forward to the break! School and work was really starting to wear me down!!!

The kids and I have decided to take DH to see Toy Story 3 on Sunday for Father's Day. We are going to go see it on Imax in 3-D and it will be Caleb's first time at the movies. He is going to be spoiled after that!! I can't wait to see the movie.

I was also shocked at the Southwest prices when I looked at them today. I plan on purchasing our airfare home on Thursday and it will not be on Southwest. They don't fly into our local airport and I can get flights for cheaper...although it won't be direct. Thats okay though.

Hey Trish!! YAY for the end of School!!! Devon is very excited to be done school tomorrow too!!! We are celebrating my going out to breakfast and then the movie and his friend Luch who is coming to Disney with us too is coming with us! They are both looking forward to it and am I!!!

Yeah, I was a bit shooked by SW prices! Needless to say if there rates don't come down within the next few weeks I will not be booking with them!!! We live like 5 minutes from philly's airport and we will only take a non stop flight to Orlando being that it's only a 2 1/2 hour plane ride. There are a few cheap non stops that air tran is offering but the departure times aren't what I was looking for, but at this point I'm gonna have to suck it up and just book the cheapest non stop regardless of time!

No, don't have too... We usually fly Air Tran, but the times of their nonstops really don't work for us, but looks like I'm gonna suck it up and just book with them. Going thru Air Tran at this point it will cost us around $221 round trip per person, plus the baggage fees! That's why I was hoping to SW to be cheap since bags fly free!

We're having the same frustrations with SW out of Denver. We were willing to drive to Denver to fly SW but the cheapest one-way fare we can find is $159 and that's not even at a time that works well for us. Now we are waiting to see if fares from South Dakota will drop any. The crazy idea of driving for three days each way is actually beginning to sound good.
