Awesome photos! We skipped AK on our last trip and I can't wait to get back next time!
Thanks!
We actually had considered skipping AK since we only had 3 full days and 2 half days at Disney, but we compromised with a half-day there, and we did almost everything we wanted to do.
Yup Dee, that's my favorite seat on the safari too!
I'm still not convinced those crocodiles are even real. They just never move.
Looks like a pretty darn good safari despite the lazy lions. I love how you built up to it though since that's always how I act.
Ok, we're getting close, will the lions be out... and... oh yay... a rock.
Wow! Fake crocodiles AND animatronic sleeping lions? What is this, the Jungle Cruise?
I was pretty happy with what we saw on the safari. We didn't get a great look at the elusive cheetahs, and there's not a lot of pride in my lion photos (get it?

) but it was a great safari none-the-less.
Great safari pics!!!
I would also love to do the tour. Tom was asking about it while we were on the safari ride in August. I don't think we'll have time on our January trip but some day
.
Amanda
Thank you!
I agree- the AK tour is definitely on my Disney bucket list.
Great safari pictures

I've never really given my seat much thought except that I always like to be at the end of a row -must pay more attention in future

Love, love, love the "mere cat" picture
I have noticed that you get the "best" views of the animals when you sit on the left-hand side. You are on the side of the hippo pool, the rocks with the lions and a few other animals.
I almost felt badly for Ben who was over on the other side of the jeep trying to take pictures on across the row because mom was hogging the view. Almost.
Glad you enjoyed the "mere cat" I cracked up when I saw it. I actually posted it once before on Rob's (DisneyKid4Life) trip report, but I wanted to make sure it appeared here, too.
Great pics! I never really thought about my seat either, except being on the end.

Thanks for the kind comments about the pictures.
Yup, enter the jeep first to sit on the left for better views.
During one vacation several trips ago, I was actually going to try to figure out the best seat for the various 4 plus-to-a-row rides based on what you see (Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Backlot Tour, Dinosaur, Ellen's Energy Adventure) but I am always too distracted or taking pictures to make note of what is best.
Great safari shots and that last funny is sooooooo funny!!!!!!!
Thanks so much, Jen!
I do love that "Mere Cat" comic!
