During our May 2004 Magic cruise we are planning on having our then 23 month-old son stay at Flounder's Reef for dinner but not at breakfast or lunch. We prefer the full-service dining for our meals on cruises and we are wondering, do they have high chairs available? I'd hate to have to pack his booster seat but we will if we must. Thanks!

Yes, they do have highchairs in the restaurants, they are the wooden types you'll see at most restaurants. Just to let you know that you may not be able to leave your son everynight in Flounders. You are only guaranteed 3 nights (or spots) and everything else is on an as available basis. You won't know until the night before if you've gotten your slots, since they don't confirm spots until the night before. Also, they don't feed children (except for the occasional bottle) in Flounders so you'll have to fed him yourself before droping him off.

They will have a high chair there and ready for you. They are also available at Topsiders/Beach Blanket for your use.

I put in for Flounders for each evening at dinner time because we had late seating and my then 13 month old son just couldn't make it. We would feed him immediately (the servers brought out the food for him every night right away!) and then if he got too fussy off to Flounders so we could finish our meal.

You will find that everything you could need is on the ship--including strollers should you not wish to take your own.

Enjoy your trip--and head over to Flounders first to sign up for times during your trip.
