dh and i just made a deposit today on 170pts at BWV!!!

we are so excited!!!!

i want to thank all the members here, as the information provided in your posts was so helpful in our understanding of the ins and outs of dvc (caskbill, your planner is phenomenal!)

we will be making reservations on monday for our first trip home!

btw: this is through disney, not a resale. they had june, december and feb. use years available at BWV. we chose june.

Congratulations!!!!!! As a fellow BWV owner, I extend a very warm welcome! You will love DVC and BWV! When are you calling MS to book your first trip? Just a suggestion, but for your first trip as a member, if you stay at BWV and if it's possible go for the whole ball of wax and book a boardwalk view villa, it is beautiful and soooo worth it. Our first trip as BWV owners was in a boardwalk view and our first night there I sat on our balcony in total bliss and I knew without a doubt I had made one of the best decisions of my life!

I would say pretty good. You are 9 months out and in the past couple of days there have been several posts on this board of those getting bw view at 7 & 8 months. I was at BWV in May and we got a bw view that I booked at around 7-8 months also. I am on the waitlist for the bw view for my Nov trip but I don't have much hope for that since this was booked only 5 months out and now there is the new bw view guaranteed policy.
