School has been cancelled for tomorrow already and since my daughter's school follows what the public schools do for snow situations, she'll be home! She's very excited. She's in K1 and this will be her first official "snow day!"

Wow! Already!?!?!? We live south of Boston and our district has already racked up 4 snow/school cancelation days :( so far this year... one was for snow, the other 3 were for a city-wide incident in October :( I'm hoping for not too many more as I dont' feel like having my kindergartener in school til July! :rotfl: Right now it's white-out conditions out there and it's coming down harder and harder......

Oh Brother :confused3 I hope we don't have a snow day!!! No more snow days, PLEASE!!! We've already had four as well...

No cancellations in RI - yet! Hoping we don't have one because we wasted one in Jan and if they're off tomorrow the'll be going to school until June 19th

Where are you? If you are actually IN Boston they may have already cancelled since it will be hard to get the sidewalks plowed for all the kids who have to walk to school. Here in SE MA we are almost 100% bus riders or driven in by family. It's just after 1:00 here and just sputting snow...town has been plowing all day and there BETTER be school tomorrow as our kids have had many snow days already...

I live in Boston. I was surprised they called it so early. There have been plows going for hours and the snow looks like it's slowing down a bit, finally. This is Boston's first snow day this year so far and I hope there aren't any more after tomorrow!

Word is that we've still got another eight hours of blizzard to go.

8?!?!?!?!? :faint: :headache: I thought it would get better around 4:30/5:00?

My kids were in school until June 28 last year due to all the snow days we had. :faint: Plus they have to bring in their Valentine's tomorrow so they really don't want to miss.

OT but in my town even if your kids are "walkers" the school busses will pick them up since the sidewalks may not be plowed.

I live north of Boston and I cannot believe they cancelled it so soon. Right now it has stopped and it looks as if there is about 10 inches outside. I do not think they will cancel it here then again what do i know. We have had only one day in my area so we still have 3 to play with. We got out on June29 last year and I was hoping not to go that late, the kids just could not focus.

P.S. log on to the Boston Channel they are the most accurate I have found.
