hi all

our party includes
me(pickey eater)
dh(will eat absolutly everything)
ds12(will try most foods but also likes typical kids food)
ds7(very picky eater nuggest and fries kid)

we will be at the world in october staying all star movies, and i am finding it hard to pick places to eat that will suit us all:eek:
i am planning on doing donalds breakfast, which other character meals will be good for 2 boys
please could you all give your opinions on where to dine:D it dosn't have to be a character meal
i am open to all suggestions::yes::

thanks eve:D

Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland has corn dog nuggets with fries or carrots for kids. My son loves them. They also have a great Chicken Caesar salad and rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes.

Cape May at the Beach Club has a good character breakfast with Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. Lots of good things to choose from.

Liberty Tree Tavern has a wonderful lunch (order from the menu) where my son gets the fried cheese appetizer for his lunch. There is a good character dinner with flank steak(like brisket), turkey and ham with mashed potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce and mac and cheese.

From one picky eater to another, I think I may be able to help you here. Some great places to dine that offer alot are:

Cindy's (lunch or dinner)
Crystal Palace
Le Cellier
Rose & Crown
50's Primetime
Tusker House
California Grill
1900 Park Fare
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Spoodle's
O'Hana's
Beaches & Cream

A great place to look (I've done this MANY times) that may save you some time & effort is Deb Will's menu board. This lists all the dining menus and is nice to see what each restaurant offers and you can see if it has something for everyone. The link is http://allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm

hi deb and bill:wave:
thank you for your options:D we ate at tommoroland when we were there on our first trip and found that o.k i will also be looking into cape may for our character option(even if it is because minnie is my fav;))

hi terk-1
you have listed some good places to eat at:D i will look in on that site and decide from there:D

My 9y.o. DD is a selective eater, not enjoying most meats (except the pre-chewed...burger, hot dog, sausage and nuggets), so we steer clear of places like Liberty Tree Tavern! Her favorite Disney restaurants are Boma and Spoodles, with yakitori house and cosmic ray's cafe her faves for counter service. I've never had a problem with requests anywhere in WDW- no meat in the pasta dishes, just bread at Columbia Harbour House (I think that's the name), etc.

Just wanted to say that there is a burger on the lunch menu at LTT. I know there is one on the adult menu and am pretty sure there is also one on the kids. That cheese is soo good BTW.

I agree about checking the menus on allears. Over the years, I've found that most any place at WDW has something for eaters with a more limited palate should we say?:D

one of my most favorite meals with a big selection is Chef Mickey in the contemporary resort. it is a character meal and it is becoming increasingly popular. the only down side is that i dont think they take priority seating until a few hours before....but still!! its a must do! im 17 years old and still love it!:sunny:

i was wrong! i talked to my mother and she said they definetly take priority seating much in advance, but make sure you book WELL in advance because it fills up quickly!!

hi all:wave:
thank you all for your comments, there are so many places to choose from :D i don't make my ps's untill june so i have a bit of time to look at the menus:D

thanks eve

p.s sorry it takes so long to reply back but i always have to join in the queue for the pc::yes::

by the way....which part of all star movies are you staying at....i stayed at toy story during 8/02

it was a blast!!

hi silverspark:wave:

i haven't requested a particular building yet, when we were there in 2001 we were put in the mighty ducks section (altough i had requested toy story or dalmations)i was a little upset at first but it worked out quite well in the end we was on the ground floor right by the ducks pool which was empty at times::yes:: and also we often caught the busses at the music building(at least i think it was music so long ago now)because sometimes it was less hassle
i might request mighty ducks again:D

eve
