Help!!! I've Made A Big Boo Boo!!!!!!!

Change the ones you can change to five. For the ones you can't, don't sweat it. This is the sort of thing that Disney hosts/hostesses deal with all the time. FWIW, DRC CMs are often out of touch with what actually happens in the parks.

I agree!

HELP!!!! I THINK I HAVE SCREWED THE POOCH...BIG TIME!!!! :scared1:

:rotfl2:

My first reaction was, I thought only my dad says this line!!!

Then I see you must be from Michigan. I guess its a Michigan thing then. Either that, or you've been talking to my dad!!!

On the subject at hand, though. Don't sweat it! I'm sure everything will work out fine! :goodvibes

(I'm editing this cause I realized that MSU might not be Michigan State University. In this case, sorry! :) )

Actually it's Mississippi State University LOL!!! So when I say "It's a southern term" I mean DEEP south! :rotfl2: BUT, I now see that it's a saying that's very widespread.

Ya'll are having too much fun here... did no one see the movie, "The Right Stuff?" Remember when they said that Astronaut Grissom "screwed the pooch" when he had problems with the space capsule? :scared1: Okay back to the fun :rotfl2:

I remember the "screwed the pooch" phrase also in the movie "Stand by Me"..."Ol' Gordie just screwed the pooch" said by Corey Feldman's character after Gordie loses a coin toss. The movie was set in Maine, and is based on a book by Stephan King who is also from Maine, so the phrase has some northern ties, too.

She also illuded to the fact that she was adding some sort of note on the ressie that I "had" an infant listed but canceled that. It gave me the impression that she was going to note that I might try to bring him.

...soooooooooooooo RUDE, I cannot remember when I've had someone treat me that badly. She spoke to me as though I were a 3 yo and was too stupid to understand or maybe that she thought I was going to try to sneak him in. I have never encountered that sort of CM before...I think she should look for another profession if she can't be polite to customers (ei. not dealing with the public LOL!!!).

Thanks for the positive replies, I feel a little better about the situation!

I am appalled that she said that to you!!!! I have to admit, I have noticed a decline in service... I have to say.... It makes me very sad, you always think of Disney as a happy place, but when you encounter this type of service it makes you upset  and makes you feel as though the experience isn't so magical :sad1: ... you know!!! I hope you called back and spoke with her manager and put in a complaint, I hate to say that but you are paying hard earned money to experience Disney and they should be concerned and aware of how their customers are being treated!

Thanks for the response, I was just too shocked to say anything to anyone. When somebody says those things to me I take it very seriously. I don't tend to be a rule breaker so for her to act like she "could warn" the CMs through noting it on the ressie...it truely scared me! I'm a little nieve so I take it to heart that she could and quite possibly would sabbatoge an effort to take him anyway.............it still worries me with every approaching day :sad2: .
