This is NOT keypooh90, this is her mom, ugadog99. You helped correct the problem for my daughter logging in and posting, but now I can't log in!! Everytime I come to the boards, I'm logged in as my daughter. We each have an account with AOL and we both use the same computer. It seems that only one of us can post-either her or me. What do we do? I can't even get to the page where I can log her out and log me in. I am very frustrated!! Help, please.

This is STILL ugadog99. I followed the link, but I don't think I understand exactly what I have to do. Even when I log out of keypooh90, I get the all cookies cleared message but can't log back in as ugadog. Please explain what I need to do. I am having serious DIS withdrawal.

You may need to clear your cookies manually. What type and version of browser are you using?

Please don't think I'm stupid, but how do I know what browser and type I am using?

Please don't feel stupid. It's a perfectly legitimate question.

At the top of your window, click on the help tab. Look for an option that says "about internet explorer" or "about netscape" and click on that.

Tell us what browser, ie. Internet Explorer or Netscape

and which version, ie. what number.

Internet Explorer 5.0 is what it says I am using. Now what?

Right now I am logged in as ugadog99. However, now my daughter can't log in as KeyPooh90. It seems that only one of us is able to log in. We can't log out and then log back on when we want to switch users. Does this make sense?

To clear your cache and cookies with Internet Explorer, first close any DIS windows you might have open. Go to someplace like www.yahoo.com.

To clear the cache in Internet Explorer:
1. From the menu bar select "Tools".
2. Select the option "Internet Options".
3. Click on Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.

To delete cookies:
1. From the menu bar select "Tools".
2. Select the option "Internet Options".
3. Under the "General" Tab look for "Temporary Internet Files".
4. Click on the "Settings" button.
5. Click on the "View File" button.
6. A list of cookies will appear.

Most of the filenames will be in this format: username@domain
Look for ones that say ....wdwinfo.com or ........disboards.com

To delete one or a few cookies:
7. Select the cookie you wish to delete and right mouse click & Select "Delete.

I don't recommend deleting all of your cookies, because you will lose all of your login and password information for all sites you visit. Just delete the DIS cookies.
