Hell's Kitchen - Season 4 Official Thread

I'm watching. No worries, Gordon won't let Matt get much further. At this point, Patrozza is about the only one left that I even like a little bit. I like Jen as far as her skills but I wish she'd stop acting like such a baby about things.

Why is this thread dying? Is anyone still watching?

For those that are: Can someone please tell me when Gordon will get rid of Matt? I just can't take him anymore and the more the slides through the more I think he might just slide right into the winner's spot.
I think next week will be Matts week and it cannot come soon enough. His facial expressions kills me I would like to slap him:headache: . Then all the sweating he did last night made me want to vomit it was so gross.

he ALWAYS looks like he could burst into tears at any moment

DH and I were about to get sick too when we saw that sweat drip into the food. We were eating dinner at the time, needless to say...

I honestly think Jen should go. She messes up too much and doesn't admit to it. The wrong person went home last night. I think LouRoss had a bad night-eh, Bobby will win anyways.

When Jen isn't busy pouting and ignoring people and all that petty stuff, she does a very good job of rallying troops, which is one thing an executive chef really needs to be able to do. She has the potential to be such a great leader, she just lets her emotions run amok. Other than a couple of mistakes in last nights rewards challenge, I haven't seen her make anywhere near as many mistakes as some of the others.

I really hope Bobby doesn't win, but I could definitely see it coming down to him and Cory

I think that every week!

I used to really like Jen. I actually felt sorry for her last week. She got bullied into going to the blue team and as soon as she did Red won reward. I would have pouted about that too.

This week though, she is starting to loose me. Get over it already.

Cory annoys me but it looks like she has the skills.

I am glad Lou-Ross is gone. It seems like he just couldn't step it up. Matt needs to leave, like yesterday.

I love this show.

Still watching. Matt is such a whiny crybaby!! Ugh, I can't wait till he gets rid of him. Totally useless in the kitchen also. Last night, his wandering around aimlessly, his inability at the appetizer and vegetable station. :furious:

I'm glad that Corey and Christina kicked him out of his stations. He was destroying service and without him they were able to complete it.

Jen is getting on my last nerve. I'm ready for her to be kicked out also. She complains and slams everyone else, which would be fine if she was at least halfway decent herself!! :headache: Oh, but she makes a mistake and it's okay, even if it causes them to lose a challenge? :rotfl2:

Bobby, didn't like him in the beginning and I still don't. He could fall down the garbage disposal and I would never miss him.

Petrozza is okay. He's a mess and unorganized. Chef won't pick him just for that reason alone.

Dang, by that default that leaves Christina and Corey. I don't believe either one has the skills and knowledge to run a kitchen but, in my eyes, I guess they are better then the blue team. :confused3

Seriously, don't they have any real chefs apply for this show?

Its funny because DH and I were just talking about how there didn't really seem to be anyone that great this season.

It's like this season was cast with Top Chef rejects :confused3

I'm not sure that I agree. While a pep talk let's rally the troops thing is important, I am not sure that her "my way or the highway, and don't think I'll let you off if there is a mistake" attitude is going to make for a good working environment. She cannot play well with others, will not allow anyone else to have a voice, and is demoralizing to people on her team. She has caused problems on both teams so unless she is going to cook alone she is useless.

She made two serious mistakes on the first challenge but that was forgivable. Her real deficit was when she took over the menu on the blue team. That menu was a mess and goes to show her experience is limited to what she likes. Chef Ramsey would not let it go off that way but IRL the EC creates the menu and this would have been a disaster.

The only reason I had wanted Matt to stay was because I cannot strand Jen. He needs to go home, and from next weeks previews he is out of control

Petrozza is a mess but he can cook. He can be taught proper organizational skills if he continues in the competition. I think he is an honorable man as well, no backstabbing on his part.

I think that part of Chef Ramsey's challenge is to mold people into proper chefs. Each season they all seem like they cannot even mop the floor and by the last challenge they are cooking.

Ok...

Here's a question for you all:

As of right now, who would you like to see win??

By process of elimination I would have to say Petrozza.

I really don't like any of the women, a bunch of backstabbers.

Matt is a total mess and Bobby reminds me of Bubba from Forest Gump, I keep waiting for him to cook shrimp.

I like Petrozza's line in the preview for next week when he says Matt went Full Metal Jacket.:rotfl2:

Jen or Patrozza

I suppose Cory is deserving, but I just really can't stand her AT ALL.

:thumbsup2 He is only one in the whole group who is. He deserves alot of extra points for that.

I was thinking that from the beginning also!! :rotfl2: Glad I wasn't the only one.

:lmao: This should be a good one next week.

Jen grates on my last nerve. It's like having an annoying Chihuahua yapping all the time around the kitchen. She makes mistakes and doesn't want to own up to them. Like not putting the sauce on two of the dishes last night on the reward challenge. She outright said she didn't feel she had to apologize to her team for her mistakes which lost the challenge for them.

This year I really don't have a favorite and to me there doesn't really seem to be a front runner. I checked online betting places and most of them are putting Christine for the win.

I can honestly say this is the first season I haven't been pulling for anybody to win. None of them are really stand outs, imo.

I don't really see that any of them could run a kitchen, there is no real "stand out" chef this season.

Does anyone know who they get to eat at Hells Kitchen? I always wonder if they are paying customers, or if they are chosen to eat there or what?

I have NO idea if it's 100% true, BUT I have a friend who works in the entertainment biz in LA and they said that they are mostly actors, and family members and friends of people on the Hell's Kitchen production staff
