Height Limit for Waterslide?

How firm are they on the height limit for the waterslide in Mickey's Pool on the Fantasy?

My very brave, very short little guy is 36", not the required 38".

Do they measure heights?

(I need to be prepared to re-direct so as to prevent hurt feelings.)

I believe they do measure heights.

They measure. I'm not sure how strict they are but I remember the measuring stick. I know the Aqua Duck there is no wiggle room and even if he is given a wrist band he can be remeasured and told no if he is found to be too short.

Well that's a bummer.

Funny, because the waterslides at the Disneyland Hotel and the Aulani don't have any height limits.

My guy is two inches short, so he's way off.
I think we'll re-direct.

They measure. And they were strict about it on the Dream this past fall.
