~He didn't drink the Kool Aid.. He bathed in it!August TR~12/13 PG45 The End

OK, now I read the whole thing...

1st thing-- Congratulations on your engagement!! It was so sweet the way he did it with the glass slipper and the penguin rocks...:lovestruc:lovestruc

I have seen those chocolate slipper desserts, they look so yummy! I know they can be different depending on where you are, but that one is the one that I would like most I think. I have always wondered, what exactly is that square thing it is sitting on, is it like a cake or a cookie??

So many great pics, I love the out of the ordinary things you guys get pics of.

I Love Peter Pan and I am so bummed that I missed it when I was there this past trip.

IASW is another of my favorites!

I'm glad that Josh liked Haunted Mansion! Definitely my favorite for sure!

I love Peter Pan! Maybe you're right, you had to experience it as a child? I don't know though, my mom loves it, and she was 32 the first time she went to Disney World. :goodvibes

You got another person here that sings the songs during Philharmagic....basically I sing along with any song that I know.

Too bad Josh didn't love all the rides, but so awesome he fell for Disney! I'm taking my husband sometime in the next couple of years and I soooo hope he loves it too! He knows how much a Disney freak I am, so I'm sure he will go with an open mind. Not to mention he was impressed with the animatronics at Cesars palace in Vegas so I am sure the Disney ones will blow his mind! I really like the drinking fountain photo too, it looks like you could take a sip right now. Great angle. OH, and with IASW I think I only love it because it's my mom's favourite ride, and it makes me happy knowing it makes her happy. lol!

Great update. Great choice for an engagement picture.

I have to tell you - I can understand Josh's opinion of Peter Pan. While I think it's cute, I never experienced it as a kid so I don't have that nostalgic tie to it. I can take it or leave it. :rolleyes1 Does that make me a bad DISer?

Great morning. You guys got a lot done. Lots of really fun pictures and I will admit it - the water fountain picture is good. I like it. I also like the one under the magic carpets.

Thank you for the compliment on the engagement pic. I had made, what I thought were cute engagement party invites, and my sister-in-law made a point of telling me at the party it was a bad choice because you couldn't see Caitlin's whole face :confused3 So I appreciate your comment!

Of course you aren't a bad Disser :) I know that I love IASW and Peter Pan so much because everytime I ride I am reminded of my first trip as a child. We visited within the first 6 months of park opening so there wasn't a whole lot there so the rides that have always been there are most special to me :)

The water fountain picture was an odd choice but I agree that it came out good.

Oh my gosh, all the photos are amazing! And I love the water fountain pic too!

I love your touring style! Just go with what you really want to do when the crowds are so light like that.

I love Peter Pan, but like you said, it's one of those childhood things.

Again, AWESOME pics! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to hear about lunch!

Thank you.
I love touring when there are no crowds and you don't need a "plan".
:woohoo: for another PP fan!

Great pics guys!
I love how Josh is going for the non-traditional shots.
He can provide a whole new perspective to us Disneyfiles!! :goodvibes

It was a lot of fun to see things through his eyes. He added a new perspective :)

Caitlin says "thank you" :)

The slipper is yummy! The slipper sits on a thin slice of cake.

You have great taste in rides :goodvibes

HM is great, isn't it?! During our vacation we ended up riding it several more times too :)
I'm happy to hear that you don't have to have ridden PP as a kid to love it :)

For us it is impossible to sit quietly during Philharmagic. Caitlin grew up on all those movies and we watched them endlessly :)

I hope your husband falls in love with Disney! :goodvibes

You are a good daughter! Seeing our loved ones happy is the best feeling! :goodvibes

hating IASW definetly must be a guy thing. my fiance always try to talk me out of going on it. when i was looking for music for our wedding ceremony, i found a really pretty instrumental verison of "its a small world after all" played on the piano. i jokingly told him that i was going to walk down the aisle to it and he said absolutly not

im glad josh loved HM :yay: its my #1 favorite :lovestruc

im always so impressed with your pictures. josh and caitlyn have a great eye for photos

Hi! I pretty much lurked through your last report and am just getting caught up on this one, but wanted to offer my congratulations to the happy couple! Did I gather that you are planning a Disney wedding?

My family is really good about riding IASW without complaint, although this last trip Caitlin did take a nap during the ride

Thank you :)

Hi! Thanks for joining us!
On behalf of Josh and Caitlin, thank you!
We are planning a Disney wedding! Exactly one year from today, the prince and princess will be married at Shades of Green :goodvibes It will just be a small wedding and we'll have the "reception" afterward at Ohana :)

Well, I think your SIL is wrong because that picture represents their engagement perfectly, in so many ways!!!! So I stand by my opinion - excellent choice!

I love all the photos that you got in the HM area - I have a feeling it will be a long time before I get to take my daughter on that ride, so it was fun to see some pics.

Love the photos by the wishing well. I think it is a perfect photo for the engagement party! :thumbsup2

And you know that my family spends more than enough time in Fantasyland, and on IASW in particular. We even got a bit stuck in the ride last time and we may have been the only ones that didn't mind it ....too much. My daughter, of course, was loving it.

Those were only a fraction of the HM pics they took
Thank you! I thought it was appropriate since he proposed in the castle :)

I bet that song was stuck in your head all day

I'm playing catch up again ladies....but I'm here!

I love that picture and I think it was the perfect choice!!

Great update and once again amazing pictures!!!

I am so enjoying reading about the engagement trip. How exciting!! Looking forward to reading all about the wedding plans.
