We also love the plaza and I get the cheesesteak there every time (also sans mushrooms!!)
I don't think I've tried the shakes there but the kids love their "Mickeylodean" ice cream after the meal.

And that Mickey/Minnie pic is awesome - definitely a perfect engagement keepsake.

It was amazing! Aw! I love Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream It is so good! I told Josh I wanted that sandwich for lunch today

Being a nurse, I tend to "pick" up on those , shall we say,, unnormal personalities or affects of certain people...I can see them a mile away both kids and adults.. my husband says it is me, I attract these special individuals.... this is so something that would have had happened to me......

It was very hard! Luckily we had certain ones that fit with our theme so it made choosing a bit easier!

His shirt says "Proud member of the United States Air Force celebrating my 8th anniversary" mine says "Proud Air Force Girlfriend" although mine was a bit outdated by the time I got to wear it

I love the Plaza Restaurant. One of these days, I've got to go back there again. They really do have some good food and beautiful decor. I might have to go back there for that mint chocolate chip milkshake alone. That looks delicious.

Finally an update! Between school, Josh's shoulder surgery and lack of sleep there just hasn't been time for an update but I am back and ready to write!

How is Josh doing?

When we last left you we were headed to the Plaza for lunch! This has become one of our favorite restaurants at Disney! Great atmosphere and great food!

I've heard good things about the Plaza but have yet to try it. I'll have to put it on the list for next time.

Josh and I had decided we would split a shake so we got a mint chocolate chip one ... I love this picture it looks all old fashioned

What I like about the picture is not just the 'old fashioned' aspect of sharing a shake, but the way you two are looking into each other's eyes. Ah, young love.

He sat there staring at me with his face pressed up against the window.

What's with some parents? I would never let my kid press his/her face up against a window where people are trying to eat.

Josh ordered this Cheese Steak Sandwich ... He loved it although he forgot to order is sans mushrooms so he proceeded to pick them all off after this picture

I do the same thing with greek pizza when I forget to say "No olives." Seriously though, all the food looks really good!

Dad found this cool angle and told me to take a picture for him.

I like the angle too. Too bad that tree blocking the castle was there, 'cause then it would've been a really great pic.

We then headed to Carousel of Progress! (Dad needed a nap and it's one of my favorites!)

What would've made this TR complete is a pic of your Mom, Dad and Josh all asleep.

At this point I started feeling a bit motion sick. I had started on some new probiotics and for some reason it gave me horrible motion sickness after I ate You know it's bad if the room changes on Carousel of Progress make you feel

Awww, that's too bad. Especially as its one of your faves.

I was very sad I couldn't join them on Josh's first ride but with how sick I was feeling I knew it wouldn't be a good idea

Yeah, getting engaged and then puking on your new fiance, does not a wonderful memory make.

After that picture Mickey motioned for Josh and I to kiss and then proceeded to pose with Minnie. The result?

Really well thank you for asking! Yesterday he didn't need any ice or medication for the pain which is a major improvement!
