Hawaii or Cabo San Lucas

My Dh & I are starting the planning process for our 2008 trip & are wanting to use our points & go to either Hawaii or Cabo San Lucas. We are looking at September-December 2008. We usually don't travel in the spring or summer - just because it's easier for my Dh to get this time of the year off.
My question is which would you suggest would be the best place to go in 2008. We of course plan to stay @ a DVC resort so I just wanted to get some feed back on where we should go & where we should stay. Especially if you have been there -- give me the good & the bad !!!! We have some time to plan this & really want to do it right. My Dh & I went to Cabo San Lucas with my parents in April 2006 & stayed @ The Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. We won a free 5 night stay @ the resort for booking our Disney Cruise with our travel agent (we booked the cruise in January 2006 but then bought into DVC in April 2006) -- but the free trip to Cabo was worth having to pay for the crusie. And I know Pueblo Bonito is not on the DVC resorts list -- but we would love to find a place in Cabo that is just as nice. We fell in love with Cabo & really want to go back - but the fact that we have the option to go to Hawaii because of DVC we are torn. So any info (or photos you took while on your trip) you could give us on the resorts would be great !!!

I have been to both and I would say that Hawaii wins over Cabo hands down. Remember Hawaii is part of the US. There are no "Vendors" on the beach trying to sell you cheap gold chains. There is far more to do in Hawaii. The Scenery is more beautiful (Huge mountians with waterfalls) I agree Cabo is Pretty, but Hawaii is spectacular! Go, you will not be dissapointed.
