Have you (or anyone you know) been on a GAME SHOW?

I'm currently in the contestant pool for Jeopardy. We'll see if they pick me, they keep us in the pool for 18 months, then if you're not called to be on the show after 18 months, then you can re-test. I did awesome at my auditions though. We played a mock game, I went up against a corporate lawyer and a writer from the Food Network. I kicked their butts and answered all but a couple of the questions. We'll see if I make it!

Oh, I forgot. My cousin 'won' on one of Bill Cullen's shows - Three on a Match. Except... the show was cancelled before his episode aired - and that meant you didn't actually get the prize

Before I was born my Dad was on the local lottery show. He went for my Grandpa and ended up winning him a ton of money. He actually even gave part of it to my dad to put a small down payment on our house.

I was on MTV's "Remote Control" when I was in college. I beat out about 500 people to get on the show, but I didn't end up winning. It was kind of cool, though, because MTV would show the reruns, and I would get recognized at Penn State sometimes that year.

LOL! One spring break, we learned MTV was coming to my school (SDSU). My brothers insisted I try to be on Remote Control but I'd never heard of it. I (and a very large group of people) did play musical chairs with Downtown Julie Brown! I lost quickly and wasn't even close to being on tv.

There's a coffe table in my family room right now that was won on Wheel of Fortune back when you "bought" your prizes off of the revolving floor. We got it from DH's grandma, who got it from someone else in her family. Not sure who, but that's the closest I've come.

I did know a guy who won College Jeopardy. He was on a competing trivia team. He wasn't the nicest person, even his own teammates seemed annoyed by him.

I did a jump rope contest on the Bozo show when I was around 9. Went with a friend's family to the show, and was picked out the of the line before the show started. My friend was soooooo jealous.

A couple years ago I saw a guy I went to junior high with on Wheel of Fortune. He flubbed big time on a puzzle (gave the wrong answer) which pretty much lost him the game.

Apparently our close friends were on Family Feud in the 70s or something. I have heard stories, but I have never seen it.

I want to be on Wheel. I beat my family all the time.

I can only think of one person I know that has been on a game show. My friend's mom was on Lets Make a Deal. It was hilarious when we watched the video since they were all dressed crazy. I believe she won a car (which she took cash for) and several other prizes. That show was too funny.
