Have you ever seen anyone famous...

We were in the elevator at AKL when David, Shawn and Patrick Cassidy came in. I wasn't really paying attention, but David was goofing around with DS. He saw DS's guest of honor badge and said, "Hey our Dad's name was Jack, too"
Then I looked around.......my teen dream!!
Also, the only time I didn't have my camera with me!

We saw two people wearing masks with security at Disneyland years and years ago...we suspect it was Michael Jackson and Macualey Culkin because they were popular then but I don't really know.

Everytime I go I see ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo and many other celebrities. Man, they have big heads:earseek: ;)

We were having dinner at Davy Crockett's Tavern ( anyone remember it?). You had to go to a whole other buildding to use the washroom. My ex ran into Jimmy Carter ( he was persident then ) at the urinals in Fort Wilderness.

The only famous people I"ve seen at WDW are famous DISers.... ;) (except of course for my favorite mice and other characters :) )....

SideshowBob, Towncrier, BambiTamby, Mickeyfaniam, Poohlovr and her DD Shellie, Disfanatiks, Mickey's Sunshine and others I'm forgetting to list. I saw Glo and CookieGVB and PandyPaws there too, but I'd met them earlier at a DISmeet in Massachusetts along with MackeyMouse and a bunch more Disers ! :teeth:

Bumped into Ethan from Survivor in January in DTD. He is very cute in person!!

DH chatted with John Travolta on the 14th floor of the Contemporary while I was in the room watching one of his movies. How weird is that??

This would have to have been about 11-12 years ago but we saw Pierce Brosnan at the Studios. He was Star of the Day and was on stage fielding questions from the audience. This was a bit before he began playing James Bond. We were WAY in the back but we did see him.

Much, much closer...
I don't watch the soaps but one November during super soaps weekend, DH and I were having dinner at the upstairs dining room at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe in Downtown Disney when who comes in and sits two tables away from us but Susan Lucci. DH has always had a thing for her and he was beside himself; still talks about it to this day. Then next night we were eating at Flying Fish and David Canary was seated across the room from us. Funny thing is, I didn't even realize he was in a soap; I actually remember him from Bonanza when I was a kid!

Way back during the opening week of EPCOT we saw Danny Kaye and Drew Barrymore recording a TV special about the park opening. At 10 yrs. old, I guess it didn't seem like a big deal to me.

OMG :faint:!! I would of been in heaven - I LOVE :lovestruc Pierce Brosnan!:hyper:

Until this last trip I had only glimpsed Harry Smith from CBS Morning show. But this last time on Dec. 30 we saw Kirsten Storms (Belle on "Days", also "Xenon" from the Disney channel films) shopping at the emporium on Main St. And on New Years Day I got my picture taken after the Wishes fireworks with (no flames please) Michael Eisner. Come on, I never got that close to a famous person before, I couldn't help myself! No, that photo isn't developed yet, but I have one of him with my 8 year old. We didn't speak to or bother Kirsten Storms (although my then-11 year old DD wanted to!) but I did hear her pick up a Mickey Tshirt and ask it they had it in "extra small"!

I live and Work near OCC ( Orange County Choppers) I see the Teutul boys all the time !

the last time we went to florida in 99, we were at sea world and we saw judge reimhold (i hope i spelled that right!!) we were in the artic ride waiting for my older brother and we were looking at the polar bears and we looked over and he was standing right next to us! but i didnt know who he was because i was like 10 or 11 but my mom knew who it was. my mom wouldn't say anything because she didnt want to invade his privacy as they were "incognito". after that we went to the shamu show and saw a whole little section of bleachers in the stands blocked off that said reserved and there he was with some bodyguards. after we got home there was an article in a magazine that was talking about him being at seaworld! boy were we surprised!:earseek:

In Disneyland, many, many years ago, we saw Marty Feldman who played Igor in Mel Brooks', Young Frankenstein movie. If you remember him, he was rather "bug-eyed" - and he looked that way in person too!

Back when Hunchback of Notre Dame was in production and Striptease was being filmed in Florida, I saw Demi Moore and her family while I was standing in front of BTMRR. Even got her on videotape while she was walking by. I tried to make it look like I was filming Tom Sawyers Island as she passed by and some guy, I'm assuming a brother, shot me a really dirty look. Later that night, a waitress at Planet Hollywood said we had just missed her there.

WAY back in 1994, we were at Disney-MGM studios and got to see DON KNOTTS. He was the marshall for the daytime parade they had at MGM. They had a ceremony where he placed his hands in wet cement. Afterwards he appeared in one of the studios and had a question and answer session with the audience.

I'm a BIG Andy Griffith Show fan, so this was quite a thrill.

<font color=navy>Saw Michael Eisner - he walked past me.

Saw the actor who's the voice for Cogsworth (he was on MASH- I know his name, just can't think of it now).

And I saw a couple of kids who were on shows on the Disney channel when DCA opened up.

Yeah, but not at Disney, although there was some professional football coach on the bus with us once at Disney, I don't remember who.

I would LO_O_Ove to see Ethan from Survivor. After all these years since teen time, I think I have an actual crush.

Not at Disney, but we saw Harvey Korman at Sea World in Hawaii. This was in the 70's when we were watching him every week on the Carol Burnett show. His kids were about the same age as us and it was weird to see someone famous just doing the same thing we were - eating at the snack bar. The Carol Burnett Show was a HUGE favorite of our family at the time.
