Have SSR booked but want AKLV OR WLV???

We have 6 nights booked at SSR for 18th-24th December.Whish resort do you think we will have better luck with at the 7 month window if any?
Our preferences are
1 AKLV- (any view)
2 WLV
3 BWV
4 BC
5 OKW
6 SSR.

We really wanted to sample the rustic feel of the first 2.I have read on here that AKLV is a no hoper but does it apply for the wlv as well and the BW?
We always stay onsite but never done DVC before.

If you call right at 7 mos, you should be ok. However, we love love love SSR so dont fret if you dont get something else.

SSR is our home resort.
We didn't have any trouble getting a studio at AKV last year for Dec.20-26, 2007.
Oh we loved it! I did NOT want to leave.

Just call MS at 7 months and ask what's available. They're very patient about looking over the possibilities.

VWL is the smallest DVC resort (at least until GCV get completed in Anaheim). So if there is anything available at 7 months you'll need to call exactly at 7 months day by day to get it. I know it goes very quickly at Thanksgiving time.

I thought HHI was the smallest DVC resort, and that VWL is the smallest at WDW.

I actually think you have a reasonable chance of getting AKV at 7 months if they happen to open up some of Kidani before December. I think the most difficult one on your list is VWL. That is a VERY popular holiday destination because of the decor.

Thank you all so much.I really thought AKL would be the hardest to get but at the 7 month window my renter will be on the phone to DVC.Wher ever we stay it will still be magical and cannot wait.
