If you have a complaint about an Orlando ground transportation company, here is who you should contact.

City Of Orlando
Vehicles For Hire Department
1010 S. Westmoreland Drive
Orlando, FL 32805

Phone: 407-246-2845

It's probably better if you write a letter, instead of phoning, so they have a record of the complaint. Give as much detail as you can, where, date, time, etc.

Thanks for that information. I'll surely write them regarding a problem we had in August. Thanks again. Mrs R

Thanks! Now I feel like there's something I can DO rather than just complain, if I should encounter a problem with our transportation.

WRITE YOUR LETTERS! That helps the City Of Orlando know what companies are leaving people without transportation, etc. It helps show them the unreputable ones. They can't do anything if they don't know about it. I wrote them, and also phoned them.
Mrs R

Also, if you have a complaint about your ground transportation experience at the Orlando International Airport, long wait for taxi or shuttle, skycap arranged your transportation (that's illegal), you were approached by a solicitor of transportation in baggage claim (that's also illegal), etc.

You can contact:

Greater Orlando Aviation Authority
Passenger Services Department
One Airport Blvd.
Orlando, FL 32827

Phone 407-825-2666

Thank you for the info. I will be writing my letter today about my complaint with ********.net Transportation company. Now I think I will feel better about the whole thing, Since now I know who tell so that this does not happen to anyone else in the future.

Your welcome..

This is for everyone, let us know your results AFTER contacting the above addresses, positive or negative. Report back to this thread as needed. I talk to the Orlando City Commissioners occasionally...

Hosp001,

What is your interest in this? You have ten posts here, four of them to this thread. You appear to be local to the Orlando area, so you aren't interested in this as a consumer of ground transportation between MCO and Disney.

MrsRendel has three posts, two of them to this thread.

While your advice may be sound, I'm not exactly sure who you are or why you are giving it. And I'd like to understand that before I take your advice.

Sorry if this sounds untrusting - strangers on the internet and all, you know.

Crisi: After reading what you wrote it made me wonder also, since I had just posted a complaint about a Trans. company shortly before this thread began.

So I did a reverse phone number check on the number that Hospi gave. It is legit. You can check it out at phonebook.com

now that I made sure I'll be sending them my complaint about your_ride.net

I'm sure the number is legit....I'm just wondering why he wants us all to complain about transportation companies....is he an independant cab driver....a competitor of a popular company on this board....something else? He seems to have found us specifically to pass this information on. And I'm a suspicious person about people who give advice without a track record....

You asked what is my interest in this? Answer: To help. After noticing the complaints in this forum regarding some transportation companies (not mentioning any names), I figured people didn't know who to contact, it would take a lot of searching to find the proper City department. I am local/the Orlando area, with a second home up north, I do travel in/out of Orlando often. I'm retired from the transportation business. I understand the internet untrust, that is why I included the phone numbers, so the addresses and/or anything I said can be verified. Please call the phone numbers, ask questions about anything I've said, then you can give people advice on the subject.

Basically you get what you pay for, if all you are looking for is the cheapest, then don't complain about the lowest quality.
