I just read that Haunted Mansion is closed for rehab. Does anyone know until when? I would be very upset if it is closed when I go. I love that ride.

Oh Thank God this is before we go. This is one of my favorite rides and I would hate to miss out. Anybody know why BB is closed for almost 2 months. What all are they doing this refurbishment?

Ok, there is hope yet. Thanks for the link. It is not yet posting the rehab of Buzz Lightyear as AllEarsNet was posting. I am hoping that is a good sign! Keeping our fingers crossed

Did you really see somewhere that Buzz Lightyear will be closed in January? I'm so happy that Haunted Mansion will be open when we go the second week in January. We would be terribly dissappointed if Buzz was closed.

Are the rides typically closed for maintenance at the same time every year? So if HM is closed the 2nd week of November this year, it will most likely be closed the 2nd week next year?

BB is Blizzard Beach. Really not that uncommon for the water parks to close down for refurbishment during winter months.

The water parks usually close in the winter months for maintenance. The attractions don't always close at the same time every year. Every few years or so they close for major rehab. The HM is probably just closing to fix some minor things since the time frame seems so short. It's my favorite, so I'm glad they're paying attention to it. Actually, does anyone know if they're doing the Nightmare Before Christmas thing at WDW HM the way they do at DL? That could be it.

Nope, that's only a DL thing. HM is just down for it's regular refurb that it was badly in need of.

Seems like Buzz is gonna be closed from Wednesday Jan. 4, through Wednesday Febuary 8, reopening that Thursay...have to say although this is my all time favorite ride it is definately overdue to be repaired, last time I was on it several of the cars were out of order and it was really stop and go.

That would be really great if they did a Nightmare Before Christmas theme on HM at WDW, oh well can always make a wish . Anyone know if there is any reason that Disney only do this at Disney Land?

The Mansion was closed (we just got back).
I'm pretty sure its just regular upkeep.
