Haunted Mansion Question

I looked several times for the wedding ring in the concrete outside the haunted mansion when i was there in dec. but could not find it. will be returning to wdw in 3 weeks & would like to find it this time. can anyone tell me EXACTLY where it is located? thanks!

We were looking all over for the ring on our last trip and finally a cast member took pity on us and pointed it out. It's very difficult to spot. I can't believe that people would spot it accidentally!

We found it the last time we were there and other people were looking at us like we were a bunch of nutbags. Silly non-DISers.

According to our guide on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour: the ring belongs to Master Gracy's fiance (the bride you see in the attic.) Master Gracy is the owner of the mansion. He hung himself (in the stretching room) right before his wedding. In a fit of anger, his fiance threw the ring out the window.

While that is a fun story, and it really does look like a ring (albeit waaaaay too small for anyone but an infant), the "ring" is really just the base of a post that held the attraction's old exit gate many many years ago. Ask any CM at the attraction, and if they have time to spare, they will certainly show you.

HM is one of my favs! We always find a CM who will tell us the story just before we get on the ride. We do this every time go! It makes the ride sooooooooooooooo much more fun!!!!

Stop a CM, like Safari Steve, and have them tell you the story, and if you get a new CM who doesn't know...simply ask someone else! It really adds to it!
