Has the bus service improved at BC/YC since 2002?

We're staying at tbe BC in July(1st time since '02). In 02 the bus service was a little crowded and slow. I was wondering if they had improved it any?

We spend most of our time in Epcot and MGM, so it's not that important, just curious.

There have been several threads recently complaining about the bus service. However, we were at YC in Feb 04 for a week and had no problems. Never had a wait longer than 5 - 10 minutes and never had a bus too crowded to get on.

We where at the Beach Club March 2003...hated the bus service, several times the bus was full before we could get on. Then we had to wait on yet another bus.

Sounds like it's not much better. We stayed at CSR April 04(week before Easter) and the bus service was great there. We like BC/YC so much, it was hard decide between BC and CSR. The pool, location to Epcot and MGM, and 7 for 5 deal made our decision for us.

No the bus service is no better. I believe that it has become worse since the BC Villas opened. You now have seven hotels being serviced by one bus route (Swan, Dolphin, YC, BC, BC Villas,
Boardwalk Inn, and Boardwalk Villas).
I am a DVC member at BWV since '96 and transportation is one of my biggest gripes. There is no where else on property where seven hotels are sharing one bus route. The time between buses is longer now too. It is no longer 15 minutes, but more like 20-30. I have waited over half an hour for a MK bus only to have it arrive fully loaded. There are many times we just hop in the car and drive to the parks.
Buses are extremely bad if you attend one of the "E" Ticket nights at the MK. Again they cover all seven hotels. One night we waited over 45 minutes for a bus back only to have our two DDs get on and not myself or my DH. The very kind bus driver asked everyone to please step back just a little so that we could get on with our girls. BTW, while we were waiting we saw at least five buses come in for the AllStar Resorts and only one for us.

I agree that bus service at the BC/YC is awful.

We always rent a car.
