Has Anyone Ever Seen A Celebrity In Wdw

One day we decided to go to Planet Hollywood for lunch. When we got there, there were hundreds of people lined up to go in. We had never been there before, and I thought "boy, is this place ever busy". Non the less, we found a cm, and asked him how we get in with a wheelchair. He directed us to another cm, who was busy with someone saying "absolutly no one is to get in until Mr. Schwartzenager gets here.". Then it was my turn. I asked him how do we get in with a wheelchair, and he said "Oh, right this way". He escorted us up the elevator and we were having our salad by the time Arnold arrived.:cloud9: :dance3: :cheer2:

We were at MK on Friday, my DD would have flipped if she had noticed!!

I noticed several small groups on Friday, each with a Guest Services rep looking all important. We didn't recognize anybody but we overheard another guest saying that The Rock had just walked by. We don't really know who that is but DH was guessed there was someone famous in the group because one of the men was wearing an earpiece like security guards usually wear.

Yep, we were right behind him at The Haunted Mansion. He is huge!! And a cutie!

On our 1st visit to WDW back 2 years ago we saw Tom Bergeron at the Coral Reef. it's pretty cool because he has a home near where we live. He actually came to say hi to us because I was wearing my UNH Hockey t-shirt so he came to ask if we were from NH (which of course we are). It's funny because my mom used to work with him well over 20 years ago when he worked at a local radio station, WAY before he hit it big on ABC with DWTS and AFHV. He hasn't changed a bit! Still as funny as ever.

I still remember when Tom Bergeron was a co-host with Sarah Edwards on "Evening Magazine" :)

I don't know if this really counts because I don't even know her name but we saw the girl that is the print and TV ads for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (the very pretty dark skin girl with the short, black curly hair) walking around Downtown Disney on Friday. She was distributing information about the Boutique. She really does work there. I always wondered if they used real cast members for the ads. Now I know. She was very nice when I shouted at here that she was the girl in the pictures. She wanted us to take the information but we have boys.

She was the FGIT that did the makeover for my youngest girl. That FGIT has the most beautiful skin I have ever seen, it is almost unreal! What would most people pay to get that  She was wonderful by the way. If you get a chance ask for her :cutie:

On our most recent trip, in October 2007 having dinner at Cali Grill...Melinda Doolittle (from last years American Idol) had dinner at the table next to ours with some Disney exceutives. Even the chefs came out and said hello to the entire table. That was our tip to look over...and there she was. Then, years ago, at the Beach Club, I saw Jean Claude Van Damme and Bruce Willis....this was when Planet Hollywood opened...so I think it was like '95??

It wasn't in WDW but I did see Ted Dansen (Sam from Cheers) in DL in '94. Yeah it was a long time ago and in DL.:drinking1

I saw Hugh Hefner and his girlfriends Holly, Bridget and Kendra the last time I was at WDW in Feb 05. They had come down to FL for Hef's annual Super Bowl party (the Super Bowl was in Jacksonville that year). We actually ended up running into them at every park we went to... apparently they had the same itinerary as us I was super excited b/c I loooove Holly! And this was before the girls were really famous... their show had not come out yet. I will have to say that Hef looks REALLY old in person (obviously he is old). He just barely shuffled along behind the girls. I have some pics but they were taken with an old timey camera (35mm lol) and I have no scanner

A couple years ago we stayed at AKL. There was a pro bass tourney that weekend and many of the pros were there. I have no idea who any of them were, but they all had their "uniforms" on walking around the lodge. The one guy I did "meet" though was interesting. There was an ESPN Special about him years back that I saw. He has a half an arm and ties his tackle with his mouth and toes. He was born with these disabilities and I really cant remember too much about him, but right away I knew it was this guy because he was in a wheelchair and had obvious disabilities. I said "good luck" and he said thanks and that was it. Im not good on spotting celebs, but he was tough to miss. My father-in-law has sat on planes next to Jon Bon Jovi and James Cavezial(sp)(Jesus) and a number of other celebs as he travels a lot. None at DW though.

We saw Kyle Massey just this past Friday at MK - he was going into the exit of BTMRR to ride it. The staff was trying to keep it really low key and honestly it looked like I was the only one who noticed him - a 33 year old mom :rotfl:He winked at me and said how you doing (He obviously saw that look of recognition on my face) - after he walked by I asked my 4 year old DD is she knew who that was - she turned around and she was like "it's Corey".....but the funny part was what she said next...."I didn't know he was here" - to her it was just like seeing Mickey Mouse.

We saw him too! He was at AK the Sunday of MLK weekend. A little girl had recognized him and he stopped for pic and autograph. Seemed very nice. Later that week we ate at Coral Reef and our waiter told us Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart had been in to eat two days prior. I wish I could have seen him in real life!

Aside from seeing Joey Mcintyre years ago, I also saw Tom Bergeron when he was filming Americas Funniest Videos in WDW a couple of years back.

Saw the Olsen twins (Mary Kate and Ashley) and entourage getting on Splash Mtn in 1992

During Night of Joy Weekend saw DC Talk staying at Contemporary

Stephen Curtis Chapman eating at WCC with his family

In 1994 there was a big celebrity golf tourney going on and alot of the celebs were staying at the YC/BC same time we were....Charles Barkley and kids poolside, Grant Hill (who was a rookie) played video games with my DS, Danny Ainge and family in the pool, Vladdy Divac (sp?) in hot tub at SAB with DH, etc.

I saw Kyle Massey from "It's so Raven" on our flight from LAX to Orlando. It's funny, I actually had no idea who he was, but while we were at the gate a lot of people (mostly tween girls and what not) kept running up to him and getting autographs and taking pictures with him. He was with his family, and I overheard his father (he sat in the row in front of me) telling another person that they were staying at AKL.

Still, it was kind of neat. Seems like a really nice kid.

I saw John Leguizamo and family walking through Adventureland last Veteran's Day. We actually found ourselves walking right behind them or else we would have never noticed them.

In Magic Kingdom, outside of the Plaza, we saw the cast of High School Musical. Surprisingly, no people were around the area so it was really special. They were there for the day to film some 'Disney 365' thing for Disney Channel. Zac Efron is absolutely gorgeous and has perfectly perfect skin from up close.:worship:  :bride: :flower3:

In January 07 we saw Eric Mangini (coach of the NY Jets) and Chad Pennington (Quarterback of the NY Jets) at the Beach Club.
