Hardrock Rewards VIP- worth it for staying at HRH?

Headed to HRH over spring break. Trying to decide if paying $24.95 for the HR VIP reward card will be worth it. It says it allows free room upgrades (when available) and priority seating in HR restaurants. Will these even be available with spring break crowds?

I'd be interested to know more about this too--heading to the HRH and I haven't heard of this card before. OP (or anyone else who has used it): how would you rate/review the VIP card?

i have the rock loyalty card and it does have its perks.
when i bought it years ago, it included a $20 discount for HRC.
so for $25 in buying the loyalty card, i received the HRH drawstring bag, pin and food voucher.
it was a deal i couldn't turn down.



hard to say for hrh having upgrades during certain high occupancies periods

they only have 650 rooms at the orlando hotel and it is the smallest hotel of the 3 onsite.

We stayed at HRH last week for five nights and right now if you stay five night you get one free night certificate with the HR rewards. Also earned enough points for three $15 certificates good for Hard Rock

So if there aren't deals on many rooms during my travel dates, I will assume that upgrades wouldn't be available during my travel dates. My dates and length of stay don't align with the 5nights get one deal either.
So what are the "property VIP specific amenity" and "welcome package...collectible" that I'd get at HRH if I join the VIP club for our Universal trip?

Has anyone used the VIP club lately? What did you receive an upgrade and if so what kind of an upgrade did you get? What did you receive as the "property VIP specific amenity" and "welcome package...collectible" you get when you sign up and pay for the membership? Just wondering if it's worth it for $25 or if I am just spending my money on hopes of an upgrade. We are going in October and I can't wait!

I checked and found the HRH very very booked up for the Sat night I stayed there. So I didn't end up bothering to get the VIP club. Just didn't feel it was worth it.

Interesting discussion. I was debating joining as well. We like HRH in Orlando - and I am going to a wedding this fall at the Hard Rock Punta Cana.
