Morning Plan:

Sleep in a bit nice to set alarm past 8:00 am!! Have breakfast ADR at the Wave over in CR at 9:45 am…so it will make for a nice leisurely morning. Really hoping for the buffet as I read on the WDW blog but if not the regular offerings sound just as nice…

Probably stop back in room before heading to our first park of the day.

Afternoon Plan:

Arrival at AK: follow goal list but mostly just take time to wander and explore till parade time. The Jammin Jungle Parade is matt’s favorite at WDW and we made plans to watch it in Nov. but the rain caused several items to be left out…bummer. So hoping for good sunny weather!

We’ll eat if hungry at Yak & Yeti or FTBBQ.

Head out of the park after the Parade and hop over to EP.

Evening Plan:

The plan is to straight hop to EP via  need to figure this one out still any suggestions? I am hoping not to have to stop back at BLT. But now also wondering is this too long of a day w/ no mid break or does the slow morning make up for it...nothing says we will stay till EMH closing either...

EP has an eve EMH night this day so we’ll be doing our 2nd F&W tour focusing most on the West side Canada to Japan during park hours…unsure if we’ll sit to watch Illuminations or not yet. Then for the EMH time we’ll go back into FW and redo our favorites.

NOTES: since this is our last sleep at WDW (sad thinking about it already)…I want to get some re-packing and organizing down in the morning too before bfast/AK so we have less to do the next morning before check-out.

Also the 2011 F&WF map is out w/ the updated booths and offerings:

http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2011-epcot-food-and-wine-festival-marketplace-booths-and-menus/

I haven’t done a complete comparison to what we chose from the 2010 info but I know only a few things have changed and been added…Can’t wait to eat.

I marked a regular EP map w/ our top booths:

So there you have it…things may change up a bit once there but of course!

Up next our final touring Day…Day 5)

Thanks for reading, J~

Why wouldn't you just take a bus from AK to EP? I don't think you'll need a break. On our Jan Trip you went from rope drop to late at night with no problem -- I think it would be the same in November.

Happy Anniversary (sorry it's late)!!!!!!! Congrats on 15 wonderful years!!!!

So guess who has a breakfast ADR at the Wave on Wednesday at 10:20 am!! So if you happen to just eat slowly or don't rush....we'll be able to have our own little DIS meet there WOOT WOOT!! We too really really want to eat at the Wave again!! We enjoyed the buffet last time and hope to enjoy it again IT WAS FABULOUS!!!! YAY I'm so excited about this...WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love your day 4 plans!!!!

Stink! I missed the game, the big reveal and a TON of Scrappie planning. :sad2:

Your costumes sound fabulous! I can't wait to see how they come together over the next several months. What a great idea...and what a great dress! ;)

Food and Wine is something I would love! The choices look mouthwatering. An awesome way to see the "world" with your special someone! :lovestruc

LOVE, love, love the scrapbooking projects!

I'm glad you made it through the ugly weather. :scared1:

In October you mean...your going in Nov. ;) So there is a direct bus from one park to the other? that would work perfectly...I guess you are right two adults shouldn't be a problem :thumbsup2

no worries and THANKS! :goodvibes

Stink! I missed the game, the big reveal and a TON of Scrappie planning. :sad2:

all that camping you've been doing ;)

Your costumes sound fabulous! I can't wait to see how they come together over the next several months. What a great idea...and what a great dress! ;)

thanks! My SIL thinks she can add a small panel in the back to help make it a little looser plus she also thinks she has some old tuel and bridal handbands from her wedding several yrs back...:thumbsup2 plan to start looking in the thrift shops next week to find Matt his pieces!

Food and Wine is something I would love! The choices look mouthwatering. An awesome way to see the "world" with your special someone! :lovestruc

I know I am most look forward to it...little portions of food is my kind of way to eat!

LOVE, love, love the scrapbooking projects!

thank you...planning to get back down to do more work ASAP!

I'm glad you made it through the ugly weather. :scared1:

yes the weather is crazy here (and I guess all around)...from crazy crazy heat now we keep having these crazy lightning storms.:headache:

Your Day 4 plans sound great. It'll be nice to have a good TS breakfast right at your resort. :thumbsup2

Yes - there are direct buses between parks. No direct buses between parks & DTD so that must be what you are thinking of...

I wish we could enjoy the F&W festival more in Nov (although it would mostly be Tim enjoying the food!). It sounds like a perfect way to spend an evening!! I've been checking out the dessert offerings at the festival & hope to enjoy a few of those!

BLT really has a ton of great offerings being attached to CR and so close to the other monorail resorts :thumbsup2

yep and maybe the only park to park hopping I have done has been to from MK so monorail and TTC bus.

I am thinking of doing the TR for this trip like my Nov one in topics vs day by day...I'll try and give you some food thoughts before you go if I don't get to that :thumbsup2

Hey Julie!

Happy Belated Anniversary to you and Matt! Congrats on 15 years...what an accomplishment! I love the little scrapbook you made for Matt. It's just adorable!

I love your Day 4 Plans also! I am not much for mid-day breaks, but I think your day is definitely doable and you will be able to accomplish everything you want without being too tired. I haven't even had the chance to check our the Food & Wine stuff yet. I have been so focused on all the little details to make this a "Dream Come True" trip for Caden that I haven't even looked at the things for me....like F&WF! ;)

I have never seen the AK parade...in fact I have only been to AK one time and it was for 1/2 a day! We may have to stick around to check it out!

Day 4 plans look good. :thumbsup2 I agree with Heidi, you probably won't need a break between AK and Epcot.

Looking forward to living vicariously through you with F&W, don't think we'll make it there for that for quite a long time.

Yes - there are direct buses between parks.

so Matt and I were chatting over daily plans the other night (before we went to see HP7pt 2...me for 2nd time I loved it again :thumbsup2 Matt was "it was ok" seriously...well he didn't like Book 7 as much as the others so I guess it makes sense) ...anyways...

on our 2nd EP visit the first thing is to do more F&W tastings...and was just thinking would it make better sense to take a bus from AK to BW or BC and then walk into EP using the International gateway? we'll be right there then in WS?

wdyt?

I have never seen the AK parade...in fact I have only been to AK one time and it was for 1/2 a day! We may have to stick around to check it out!

we enjoy it, I feel it is one of the more unique parades i like the music too!

:thumbsup2 I like how it sounds now and going over it w/ Matt he agrees too

Looking forward to living vicariously through you with F&W, don't think we'll make it there for that for quite a long time.

Itinerary Plan for Day 5)

“the time to say good-bye…for now” Day

Main Activities:

* Departure day-check out

* KTTK Tour @MK

kttktour.jpg

* MK touring

Morning Plan:

After a quick bite in our room and final packing up we’ll say good-bye to our room and head down to CR to check in w/ the airlines and check our luggage etc w/ bell services.

KTTK Tour is set for 9:30 am so we need to leave CR no later than 9 am to make it up to City Hall by 9:15 am…crowds will already be in the park because of early EMH so I hope entry lines won’t be too bad…

:confused3 hmmm should we leave even earlier takes under 10 min to walk over...

Afternoon Plan:

The Tour should finish up around 2:30 pm (lunch is included at CHH) we’ll now have about 2 hrs to catch some last minute rides and photos. We want to leave MK by 4:30 at latest so we have time to grab something to eat to go in CR and get our carry-on’s. I am estimating the DME bus will pick up around 5:15 pm.

Evening Plan:

we will be chillin in the airport (eh) and then heading home to Chicago…bye-bye Mickey but don’t cry we’ll be back in a short 3 months! :goodvibes

I do not have a tour card for the last day since most of our time in the park will be spent in the Tour and we’ll wing it for the last hours.

I do have a few notes:

* Wear 40th Anni shirt/Walt shirt

* make sure to jot notes so we don’t forget everything in tour
Get some final PP pixs before leaving park!

That’s our final day and it should be a really good one…hoping for a great guide and group of guests to tour with…will make it that much more MAGICAL! pixiedust:

Up NEXT: what else to talk about…

Thanks for reading, J~

Although departure day is always sad :sad1: it looks like you have a fun day planned! The KTTK tour sounds magical. I would love to do that one day! I hope you have loads of fun!

What else to talk about.... Hmmmm? I'm sure you will think of something! :thumbsup2

Last day, so sad. I like the game you started on your other thread. Probably too much to have games going on in two different PTRs. :rotfl:

I know I've said it before, but I know you and Matt will really like the tour! It's very informative and not static. You don't stand around in one place for too long. And of course, who wouldn't want to go down into the Utilidors?

I hate to see the last day, it's always bittersweet. Knowing that you'll be back in three months does help, though!

That sounds like a great plan! Not sure if it will save much time or not, but it will be fun to go through the Beach Club or Boardwalk. :thumbsup2

Tim & I saw HP on Saturday night. I loved it, Tim was so-so too... I don't know if the difference is that he read the books, I didn't. :confused3

I'm sooooo jealous of your KTTK tour! I would LOVE to do that but with the kiddos along for our anniversary trip it just won't work. Maybe I should have talked you into taking a different tour so you could do the KTTK tour with me!!

I know I can't wait should be a ton of fun! and great to share some secrets w/ the kids on the return trip :thumbsup2

yes it definitely does :goodvibes

That sounds like a great plan! Not sure if it will save much time or not, but it will be fun to go through the Beach Club or Boardwalk. :thumbsup2

I figured it wasn't time we'd save but maybe a little more fun walking in a different way :thumbsup2

Tim & I saw HP on Saturday night. I loved it, Tim was so-so too... I don't know if the difference is that he read the books, I didn't. :confused3

I have read the books a few times through...so not sure...maybe it's a guy thing  we really need to take a family trip together even our DH's and kids are in sink :goodvibes

I'm sooooo jealous of your KTTK tour! I would LOVE to do that but with the kiddos along for our anniversary trip it just won't work. Maybe I should have talked you into taking a different tour so you could do the KTTK tour with me!!

aww sorry...:guilty: you made me giggle though we figure out something fun to do...don't you worry ;)

KTTK sounds like a great way to spend your last day! That tour has always sounded really fun and informative to me, I'm sure you're going to have a great time!

I am dying to try the KTTK tour, I just wanna go into the utilidors, especially since reading kingdom keepers

You will love love love the KTTK tour!! I took it awhile back and so want to do it again! It was probably the highlight of my trip!! I have really really enjoyed the tours I have done with Disney!!! What a great send off to a great trip!!!
