Happy Mickey-versary for 15 yrs! An Oct. 2011 PTR NEW: 11/13 Pretend Disney? & TRlink

My parents did the KTTK tour and really loved it. I'm thinking on my next trip I might book it!
Your last day plans sound great. Kinda neat that you're doing the tour last -- that way it will be magical throughout the trip, and then the very last thing you get to see is the inner workings of the magic.

KTTK sounds like a great way to spend your last day! That tour has always sounded really fun and informative to me, I'm sure you're going to have a great time!

I think so too! have thought of doing a behind the scenes tour for quite sometime so this trip was the perfect opportunity

KTTK....jealous! Sounds like a perfect last day. (Except that it's your last day. :sad2:)

yes last day blues...but going out w/ a BANG!

I am dying to try the KTTK tour, I just wanna go into the utilidors, especially since reading kingdom keepers

Oh I love KK too...I bought the series for my son and then read them too...I need to read book 4...I'll start it closer to the trip for my pre Disney Disney read ;)

not sure the ultilidors are the most exciting thing of the tour...but to just say "Hey I was down there" sounds cool...I had my chance back in '94/95 when I was still a CM for the stores that could have got me down there, but I'd have to go alone and I was to nervous too...

You will love love love the KTTK tour!! I took it awhile back and so want to do it again! It was probably the highlight of my trip!! I have really really enjoyed the tours I have done with Disney!!! What a great send off to a great trip!!!

thanks...I could see if would be something fun to do again...the only other tour we have done is the family one...I'd like to do that again too if I thought the kids would be game...

whoops missed you....that is a great way to put it! :goodvibes

So Matt surprised me the other day w/ something really cool that actually almost made me cry (in a good way of course ;)) he set it up like this..."hey I have something for you to watch" [on the computer] I am thinking he found something cool online...

but he had put together a snipet of video set to a song from the 4 hrs + of video we took back In Nov. 2010 at WDW

WDW Our First Trip Home

Matt did a great job!

I especially liked Rachel's dancing and singing on iasw......wonder where she gets that from :rolleyes1

Awesome video!!! That was so sweet of Matt to put that together! There are so many great parts but I agree the part with Rachel singing is adorable!

And I love the new look of your blog. :thumbsup2

sorry, been MIA with a work project and week long business trip, but back now baby!

Love day 4 and 5. Heck, you haven't even left yet and I am sad reading day 5. :lmao: Funny how that works!

You will love KTTK. We did this 2 years ago. It was fabulous! We had a great guide (forget his name) and had a blast. I can't wait to do more tours. In fact, we did one at Disneyland last year on a girls only trip. I'd love to do one of the DIS ABD trips one year where they visit the imagineering/studios etc. Maybe one day!:thumbsup2

I love the F&W map you mocked up. I need to really get on top of the whole F&W thing- i have been so busy at work, i haven't really stayed on top of it or selected the booths we want to hit. we are newbies to it!

Oh my, I LOVE that video, how cute is that? It has inspired me to take more video this trip so I can do a nice montage myself later on! it is so darn cute. what a great memory to have. I even have a youtube channel already set up for my videos of William to share with family.

Aaah, love the video. How sweet of Matt to do that!

What a great surprise from Matt! The video turned out so cute...he did a wonderful job! I absolutely LOVE scrappy blogs and yours is adorable with the Disney connection. I now have it bookmarked and will be visiting regularly! :goodvibes

I will report back some but not all ;)...yes that shot sure looks staged...I don't think we can take photos or video :confused:

what a great video!!! I really have to learn to use my video camera :confused3

I did most of the video-taping...the editing that's all Matt

So now that the touring plans are basically done (I have tweaked a few things here and there since posting the first cards) it sort of feels like I’ve hit that impasse of planning…but never fear there’s lots left to do to get ready and to have fun preparing…

Here are some thoughts:

* a revised TO-DO list

* more details about our Halloween Costumes

* packing lists

* final budget review

* Countdown calendar and family Disney nights

* Trip Shopping

* Souvie Lists

* Let’s order a special CAKE!

* and more

Something to tie you over w/:

I have been on youtube alot lately as I have been looking for video clips to finish up my 30 Day Disney challange on FB and came across this great video done by the Disney Blog...I am sure you all have seen it, but this is great fun!

A Model Day at the Magic Kingdom

and then Matt sent me this great video

Darth Vader goes to Disneyland

Hope you stay tuned! J~

I love that MK video!! I was just looking at it the other day after Brookelizabeth posted a link to the follow up Epcot video. Have you seen that one yet?

not completely sure yet...since it's just matt and I going we won't be doing a ton like we did for our Nov/ trip...for now I think we'll have 4...and a Halloween themed one...no details yet, a F&W one...that we have figured out and need to come up w/ 2 more...

have a 2 hr car drive waiting for us tomorrow as we head up to MI w/ friends so I'm sure Disney will come up once or twice :rolleyes1

The video Matt made is fantastic! I enjoyed watching it! :thumbsup2

thanks Missy :goodvibes

I'm way behind here! lol! Loved the video, it's so sweet. I always say that I'm going to do one of our trip but I forget every time! Maybe I'll do some from our last trip before we go on our next one.
I can't wait to see the Hallowe'en costumes!
