This is the first birthday I have spent away from home and away from the Cape. I am sad.
However, my newish co-workers are great. The decorated my desk and did a potluck breakfast that was yummy!!!
DFiance has a surprise place we are going tonight. Have no idea but he is very excited about it. With the wedding and going home next week and September I didn't want him to waste money on something for me that I didn't need so we are just going to Red Lobster for dinner. He hates seafood so my birthday is the only time I can get him in there. I will be having my share of seafood next weekend when we go home for a few days.....

Happy Happy to you! This is my first birthday without my kids since they were born (they are away with Dad for a few days), so I can kinda relate! My boss had flowers sent to me (she's also away) , and my co-workers just gave me a wonderful cake. My BF is supposed to cook me dinner tonight, but I'm guessing we'll end up going out instead (either is fine with me, as long as I don't have to cook, I'm happy)!
