If we are in the park when they start handing out wristbands where do we go to get them? Do they only start handing them out at 3:00? If we have already been in the parks that day can we use regular re-entry rather than the specific lines for MHP around 3:00 then go get our wristbands?
When we were there in 2014, we were able to walk up to any CM on main street and show them our Halloween tickets and they gave us our wrist bands. It may be different now but it was rather easy. It seemed like they definitely waited until 3 to hand them out. You will see them start putting Trick or Treating line cones out and block offs around then.

Oh! I just thought of a question!! So my first party will be the first night I get there, but I'm not going to upgrade my PH to an AP til the next day after MM. Will the photos taken the day before be automatically added onto my AP once it's created, or will I have to pay for the PP+ photos that I get taken the night before?

Is there anything special for AP holders during the halloween party? treats, trails or merchandise?!?!
we were there in 2010 during halloween but our little one was 10 months old so we didn't do any parties and I am sure I planned to be in DCA the day of the parties anyway!

Last year, there was a specific spot just instead Frontierland where the CMs were scanning your tickets, putting on wristbands, and handing out the treat bags. There was a long line and at one point I heard a CM tell someone the line was too long and they would need to come back when it was shorter.

We had old APs before we switched to the new APs that include PP. Once our new APs were activated I discovered that I did have access to old photos taken prior to that activation date. I know you can link a PP card number to your AP account after photos have been added, so hopefully they will be free for you.

There was an AP treat trail last year through the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln attraction. They gave you a drawstring bag and a cake pop or rice krispie pop.

Anyone else notice that DVC members and Disney VISA holders are NO LONGER listed on the website as eligible to purchase advance tickets? The blog clearly states we can, and I'm sure it was on the Disneyland.com/party page the other day, but it isn't tonight. I am freaking out.

I'm trying to figure this out as well as the website now only says Annual Passholders are able to buy on July 21 and does not mention DVC or Visa Card holders, and I agree, I thought it mentioned both when the information was first released. I guess we will find out tomorrow when someone with a DVC or Disney Visa tries to call and purchase!

Here's what it now says on the DL website btw ...."Purchase your tickets starting July 28 (or July 21 for Annual Passholders)."

Are there any discounts for Visa card holders?

Are the Halloween tickets specific to a person? In other words, I have 4 annual passes, will I be able to purchase 6 tickets for the same party on July 21?

Has anyone been able to confirm if Disney Visa holders will be able to purchase tickets tomorrow?

Second question - do the tickets become available online at midnight or does it open at 8am California time?

Thank you for any/all insight!

If I remember correctly you don't need 4 APs. One person can use one AP to purchase up to 8 tickets.

ETA no they are not specific to a person:)

Thank you! I am pretty much beyond excited. And I suspect it will be a let down. And touring plans has the other days of the weekend at 10 of 10 crowd wise. But really, I just can barely wait!

What is the Pre-Party in Toontown?

And can someone give me more info on the Happiest Haunt Tours or any other tours that are available? Are they worth doing? With only 2-1/2 days in the parks I want to make the most of every minute but this will likely be the only time we go without children so seems like this would be the time to go on a tour.

The Toontown pre-party begins about an hour before the "official" party start time. Last year the party officially started at 6:00pm on the day we went, but we were lined up in a special queue for Toontown around 4:45 and let in to the area around 5:00pm. There are a couple of treat trails and character meet and greets with Mickey & Minnnie, Chip & Dale, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto all in their Halloween costumes. I'd go straight for the character lines (if you're interested in meeting characters) and then do those two treat trails as the character lines got long pretty quickly.

It will only be a let down if you go in with unrealistic expectations (no crowds, etc.). There will still be crowds though nowhere near a regular park crowd, there will be lines for the popular activities like meeting villains, etc.. Just have fun, enjoy the atmosphere, enjoy the people watching and all the fun costumes, enjoy the awesome Halloween fireworks and have a blast!

Also, touring plans has been notoriously unreliable this year due to the 60th throwing crowds out of whack so you never know what kind of crowds you may see while you're there. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised! :goodvibes

Thanks for the info! I will just be there with my husband so I doubt we'll do character meet and greets and will likely do limited Trick-or-Treating. We are mostly there for the excitement, the people-watching and the hope of shorter ride lines. :) But I'll wait and see what he wants to do.

Any thoughts on which party night will be more crowded? Saturday, 10/29 or Monday, 10/31?

I'm trying to see if we can make it this year. Saturday night would work better for us since we'd be coming from Northern California, but there's nothing like a good party on the actual Halloween night. How have the crowds been on 10/31 even though it's a weeknight?

Pretty much all of the party nights sell out. Nobody knows how many tickets are sold for each party, but it seems to reason that a sell out on one night would be the same as a sell out on another night. Both of the nights you mentioned will sell out for sure...so I think the crowds will be the same. Just my opinion, though, since nobody knows how many tickets are sold.

I have obviously missed this somewhere, but has it been confirmed that adults are OK to be in costume for the parties? I have a friend who is asking whether I know for sure one way or the other.

I can't recall, do tickets go on sale tomorrow at 7 am east or west coast time?

I kind of remember last year, the site went live for APs around 3 or 4 in the morning Pacific time. Basically, sometime after midnight but before 7 a.m.

I thought you had to call in? Thanks for your info!
