i think we are going to do two parties -- for us with the exchange rate is about $100 per person per tix so i'm going to find another $300 for us to go to a second party!
you only live once and you can't take money with you......

I agree.. This is why I spend so much on DL because I love it & it makes me happy.

My psychiatrist said she'd prescribe DL visits for me if she could. She said it's the best medicine for me! Now, if only my credit card companies would agree and "lose" the charges... :-)
I actually spend time here to relieve the stress from my job. It really helps so, I could see why a prescription would be needed. Now all we have to do is get our medical insurance on board to be covered under our prescription plan lol... I mean since your Dr. Is on board and all...:rotfl2::stitch2:

hmmm... we'll have to ponder on that...

At MHP do people camp out for hours for the fireworks?
We went in 2014 and maybe headed over 45 min early and had a great spot. I hate being the last one over but I also do not want to wait more then an hour because our kids get tired and pass out and it becomes more of a chore then a fun thing. I try to keep them busy on other things as long as possible until we absolutely have to go find a spot. Even at 8 & 5 its still a long day in the park so as long as they are on a ride or Trick or Treating their spirits are high.

Looks like they just released a discount today for up to 25% off hotel stays. I was able to save some money on my trip. :) Love it when that happens!

Do you guys know if the PTN parade will be featured in MHP? Last year we saw PTN instead of Mickey's Cavalcade parade and it was great. I'm actually afraid that PTN will be cancelled by the time October arrives. :(

Thank you for the info! LOVE your pic with Mickey and Minnie! My littlest would never wait (he's 4) that long for anything - we even divided ourselves so our oldest could meet Capt Jack last year at MVMCP, the younger ones were riding and getting their hot cocoa and cookies with me while Dad took 12 to meet her pirate! haha

Thanks! That was definitely a time sink. It could be done with a shorter wait if you are willing to make that your first stop of the night (and line up early). But you only get so many shots at a "first thing". Our first party we did the pre-party in Toontown which we really loved. (Did the villains line first on our second night). The pre-party is definitely worth the time. Still some waits, but it moved pretty quickly.

Captain Jack was also at the party and we met him with only a couple people ahead of us since it was during the fireworks.

I think the information release on the Halloween party mentioned the cavalcade and a headless horseman. I would read that as no PTN at the party.

Sources so far indictate PTN will go away after labor day.

Oh my gorgeous costume!!!

I had watched a youtube video this afternoon and she indicated that they were able to get into the park before the 3 hours before the party. Is this common?

They were able to get into the park before the 3 hours before the party. So instead of 4 pm they got in at 3 pm.
Some parties do allow you to get in at 3pm. It just depends on what time the party starts but it's always 3 hours. You can get in at 3pm if the party starts at 6pm, it just depends.

I believe that's the standard policy. If the party starts at 6 you can get in at 3. If it starts at 7 you can get in at 4. Be aware that the gates were very busy at that time when we went last year. After our experience at our first party last year, we decided we wouldn't do that again and made sure that for the second party we were in the park well before they started letting people in with just a party ticket.

If we are in the park when they start handing out wristbands where do we go to get them? Do they only start handing them out at 3:00? If we have already been in the parks that day can we use regular re-entry rather than the specific lines for MHP around 3:00 then go get our wristbands?
