I agree.. This is why I spend so much on DL because I love it & it makes me happy.i think we are going to do two parties -- for us with the exchange rate is about $100 per person per tix so i'm going to find another $300 for us to go to a second party!

My psychiatrist said she'd prescribe DL visits for me if she could. She said it's the best medicine for me! Now, if only my credit card companies would agree and "lose" the charges...

We went in 2014 and maybe headed over 45 min early and had a great spot. I hate being the last one over but I also do not want to wait more then an hour because our kids get tired and pass out and it becomes more of a chore then a fun thing. I try to keep them busy on other things as long as possible until we absolutely have to go find a spot. Even at 8 & 5 its still a long day in the park so as long as they are on a ride or Trick or Treating their spirits are high.

It could be done with a shorter wait if you are willing to make that your first stop of the night (and line up early). But you only get so many shots at a "first thing". Our first party we did the pre-party in Toontown which we really loved. (Did the villains line first on our second night). The pre-party is definitely worth the time. Still some waits, but it moved pretty quickly.
Captain Jack was also at the party and we met him with only a couple people ahead of us since it was during the fireworks.

Yes, your MHP ticket allows you to enter the park 3 hours prior to the beginning of the party.
They were able to get into the park before the 3 hours before the party. So instead of 4 pm they got in at 3 pm.
Some parties do allow you to get in at 3pm. It just depends on what time the party starts but it's always 3 hours. You can get in at 3pm if the party starts at 6pm, it just depends.
