Good morning team. Hope everyone's having a good week so far. I can't wait for this one to end.
Kimberly: Good job keeping a steady weight through the party. I remember those fun parties. My son is 12 now and wants to have the teen "boy/girl" party this year!

As far as carbs, I don't avoid them at all. I just try to eat whole grains and as unprocessed as possible.
Apparently, everyone in my class is unethical. We keep discussing what it would be like if there was no chance of getting caught, and we're all a little scary!
Elizabeth: I'm so happy to hear the pain is gone most of the time.

Now, we just need to get you through the next 2 weeks.

Apparently, it's unanimous, no one likes ethics class!
Rick: Great gym story. Yeah, I'm sure they were all trying to figure you out! I don't know if you've noticed, but there aren't many distance runners in gyms. They tend to be more worried about fitness, so they aren't going to run half marathons. I have a hard time at gyms because they all have time limits on the tms. I'm glad the shoes are working out.
Vicky: I would love to buy some shoes on my trip, but we'll see. Italy has the most amazing shoes, but they also come with a huge price tag for the most part. I'm going to avoid the street in Venice with the designer stores. I don't even want to look at the new stuff I'll never be able to afford.

I bought a new dress for the trip already. I know, it's pathetic. But, I started thinking summer, in Venice, just me and Frank and couldn't help but feel the need for shopping. Here's the link since I know you like to shop as much as I do:

It's funny. I have a friend who is a fitness competitor and she's the opposite. She has this 6 month diet that she does before her competitions and it slowly takes out all food except tuna and veggies. It's obviously different for men and women. She also does the bathing suit ones, so I think they are less bulked up.
Great job on your squats! I can squat more weight than almost any man I know (of course, I don't know any muscular guys). It's fun to push yourself sometimes.
No, you did a good job pacing too. I was just always the one announcing the pace.
Lynn: Yes, that's a long time standing. Especially when you aren't used to it. I love cruises, but have a major issue with packing for those. I love the formal nights, so we always have to bring evening gowns and tuxes and they take up lots of room!
Dave: I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, but, 85 isn't bad.
Wow, I just used my pace calculator to see what a sub 9 minute 1500 meter would be. I can run that, obviously, but I could NEVER walk that no matter how much training I had. I am, as always, amazed by your goals and speed. I like the training partner's mantra. I might be using that!
AFM: Well, I am going crazy again. I worked on homework from the time I got home yesterday until 8:30. Then, woke up and started again. Now, I'm going to school to meet the honors prof and do some research, and back home for more work. Harrison and I are going to the batting cages after school, then I need to try to get the dog out for a walk. I just couldn't wake up this morning.
I am taking a couple days off from running. My knee is fine, but my calf (the one I tore) is cramped up and tight as can be. I'm going to try warming it up and stretching it out a few times today, and I've been putting Biofreeze on it to make it feel better. It's annoying. But, I guess I'm just pushing too hard. I want to do another 1.5 or 2 with Harrison tomorrow and then, maybe 3 on Saturday. We'll see.
