Hi everyone,
I normally book my trips online as I find it much more comforting to have all the information in front of me, on-screen, during the process. However, this time, on step # 2 of check out, where it confirms where to send travel documents (magic bands and mickeymail), it listed my street address as SW (Southwest) instead of NW (Northwest) due to a cast member assigning my unique PIN to that wrong address. I called Disney and they told me the only way to book, since there is a typo in their system, would be to book over the phone.
So, I went ahead and did it. One difference I noticed is that when booking online and setting up DME, it asks for your flight numbers, arrival and departure cities, and your arrival and departure times. Over the phone, she only asked for the flight numbers. I'm sure I'm being overly cautious, but, should I assume that everything is correct even though I only gave her the flight numbers and not the times and cities?
I've linked the reservation to my MDE account and it all looks ok, although the MDE account never does show DME information even if you book online.
Anything else I should know about online vs phone booking?
I'm a control nut when it comes to logistics planning, as you can tell.
Thanks!
