Grilled Corn on the Cob recipes

We grilled corn on the cob today. Did the same way we usually do, just pulled the hucks back, removed the silk and then pulled the husks back up.
I did have a small flare up from the burgers beneath the corn just before I was ready to take them off the grill....:scared1:
They were wonderful.

I didn't add anything at all to them.

Delicious.

Mmmmm grilled corn:love: We usually put salt and butter on them then wrap the husks around them, put 'em in foil, and voila...delicious corn on the cob.

The only thing we've ever done wrong was overcook the cobs to where the corn was kinda dry and tough.

I'm going to try the soaking method next time. Does anyone add anything to the soak mixture? Sugar? Salt? Spices? Hmmmm...:)

....I always par-boil mine for about 15 minutes. The corn absorbs the water so it stays moist when you grill it.....I learned this from Pete the Produce Guy (on NBC) when I met him at Pathmark.....

I Love Pete the Produce Guy! Never met him though...:sad1:

okay....

I soaked the corn for about an hour. Then I sprayed it with butter flavored Pam and pulled the husks up and put it on the grill. I had it on the grill for at least an hour, up and down (it's electric). I served it with salted butter.

The result???

It was INCREDIBLE!! To hear everyone say UMMMMMMMM when they bit into it was such a turn on!!! Thanks everyone!!!!!

I usually pull back the husks and remove the silk. Then I cut a few pats of butter and put it on the corn, pulling the husk back up over it before putting it on the grill. Most of the husk actually ends up burning away, but the corn is delicious.

I was at my sisters once and made it this way. My niece and nephew ate the corn before touching their hot dogs and then wanted more corn - but we'd only bought 1 ear for each person so there wasn't any left.
