haven't read whole thread...so apologize for duplicates.
quart size freezer bags (heavier and more durable) with ice in AM and PM to keep refridgerator cold. then it is ready for any leftovers we bring back to the room. we keep a few soft drinks and waters ready at all times. Nothing beats a cold diet coke over ice (except a perfectly chilled bottle of chardonay).
use the spa showers - keeps room neat, water pressure can't be beat and so spacious compared to the rooms.
take over the door shoe organizer attached to hanger with plastic ties and store all navigators, tickets, receipts, arcade cards, etc. We keep hi-liters, post-it notes, etc. to leave messages for each other which we put on back of the door.
We use pre-printed labels for luggage tags at end of cruise and start packing bags on day before. while everyone else is packing, we are enjoying last day of our cruise.
pack black slacks, skirt and dress, different jackets, basic shoes and then mix and match.
get tip vouchers early in cruise to avoid lines. better yet plan ahead with cash and be generous if applicable (almost always is).
watch for runners from deck 4 at sail times from ports (15 cruises and never seen someone left behind but have heard of it, and seen some close calls). watch the pilot get off the boat after we sail from each port. (for those that don't know, a pilot from each port will assist captain in bringing ship in and out of each port).
enjoy sunsets from the decks (sunrises too if you happen to be one of those morning persons). This is the main reason i like 2nd dining. you have the deck to yourself as everyone else is at dinner.
