We have always rented from the Car Care Center but this time we rented from the Thrifty at the airport as they had a great deal on a mid size SUV. I was a little nervous because of negative reviews.
When we got to the airport, DH and DD went to the Magical Express and I went to the Thrifty counter. Process took about 5 minutes. The rep mentioned the optional coverages but didn't push them. Walked across the street, into the garage and a nice attendant told me what aisle and to pick out my vehicle. Got a Ford Escape, stopped at the gate and another very nice attendant checked us out and sent me on my way! It was soooooo simple and I was on the road in no time.
I got to POR about 20 minutes before my family and got all checked in.
The return process also took less than five minutes and we were on our way.
We had such a great experience. This was so much easier than having to rely on the shuttles on property. The only negative is not riding the ME bus with my family but it's well worth it just to have it taken care of!
