Great deal: 37% RO discount at Poly w Travelocity

I called travelocity and they asked the price I had online with the promo code Summer10 and they were able to do better. They explained that they can usually do better on the phone then online. It was worth calling and no wait.

Hmmm....I booked this afternoon with the SUMMER10 discount, not even thinking about ebates. I tried to call to see if travelocity could give me 5% or so off and 1) she sounded like she was underwater, talking through a string and tin can and 2) I think she said that since I already booked the one discount was it. Sorry, charlie.

Has anyone had luck calling back after already having a confirmed reservation, and getting a better deal than the SUMMER10? I tried to book a second one through ebates and didn't have enough room on the credit card for both entire vacations. We are going to try to raise the limit tomorrow morning, but I have a feeling it will be too late.

Also, do all of the operators sound so horrible? It was painful to try to hear what she was saying. At one time she was saying something about cancelling and I kept saying, "No....we will just keep this, thank you!"

I got the HOT13 to work for 13% off, and I went through my Ebates account to Travelocity, which will give me another 6.5% back!!

So I just cancelled my Yacht Club reservation and booked Boardwalk for the same dates (which I prefer anyway) and got the HOT13 code plus it looks like it is a Good Buy property so I will get the Ebates. All in all, I am getting Boardwalk for $278 a night on a weekend during Food and Wine Festival. I am PSYCHED. This is a much better deal than I had even hoped for with an AP Discount. Thank you OP for starting this thread and to the others who found the codes!

Needed 3 nights at POFQ for end of our trip... nope, couldn't get at all. Ended up booking 2 nights at rack - third nt wasn't available even at rack. so $396 for 2 nights rack standard room....

now with travelocity... those same 2 nights are $281. thank YOU! Was kinda not liking paying rack those 2 nights!

Still need somewhere to stay night of Dec 5th. Prefer POFQ... or WL.... but not available. For now, booked at YC for $308... which fine, we do love us some YC. But WL is our last night tradition for that time of year trip each year. Plus WL works best our last morning, easy to check our luggage for flight, jump on super quick bus ride to MK and quick back to WL for our DME.

Try Orbitz.com. They did have a bunch of WL date s available.

Oh well. Unless someone cancels one of these, I didn't get the extra 6.5% off ebates. A room was there this morning, but I didn't have enough room on my credit card to charge the whole things twice (wanted to re-do remembering ebates this time). I paid my credit card, but it won't go through until tomorrow at the earliest. I just checked and the Poly for 11/30-12/6 is back up to near rack rate.

At least I have the extra 10% off the 30% off Disney prices.

Has anyone had success calling Travelocity after already have a reservation and getting a further discount?

You should get your Ebates cash back within a day of booking. I cancelled our reservation with Orbitz when I saw the Travelocity deal, booked through Travelocity yesterday afternoon, and my cash back is already pending in Ebates I'm even getting more back through Travelocity than I was through Orbitz.

I am glad I am not the only one cancelling and rebooking! I was psyched the first time when I scored the $75 off the discounted rate. When I heard about ebates and the HOT13 code, it was like Christmas! LOL

I was helping a friend tonight book with Travelocity and noticed that if you use the HOT13 (13% off), it will take 13% off room and the park tickets if you add them to your room only reservation. Not a bad deal!

Do you get the ebates cash back on the total if park tickets are included? Or just on the room portion?

I don't think the ebates works on the ticket portion. They do have a deal before the discount though, some 1 day free or 2 day free tickets depending on the number of tickets you purchase.

This is all mine says and I'm assuming it means things that may be charged back to the room???
