Grand Floridian shouldn’t allow non hotel guests

I’m confused by your post

Hotel is for anyone but they can limit to guests?
Disney hotels are open to non hotel guests. Disney encourages visits by guests not staying at the resort.

Disney could chose to have a closed resort. Originally AKL was limited to registered guests and guests with dining reservations.

Guests visiting the GF, and other resorts, to view holiday decorations are welcomed by Disney.

That is what the OP and some others in this thread want Disney to stop doing, though

They would like to see Disney amend it’s policy, specifically for GF, to either severely limit access or close it off completely to guests and those with dining reservations during the holidays.

The Christmas decorations in general, the Gingerbread house specifically, are designed to attract the "unwashed" masses.

Amend the policy and most of the decorations will go.

OR
Get rid of the decorations and many of the "unwashed" masses will go on their own.

Disney has decided resorts are an extension of the parks.
Four Seasons, Waldorf..are options for guests looking for a more exclusive experience

I agree! I’d rather have the open ability to visit all the resorts during the holidays…it’s one of our favorite parts of the trip as we don’t do parks morning to night…and be flexible with crowds when we stay at GF.

Have taken the boat to WL numerous times to gawk around the lobby and grounds and never had to show MB ..
Not Wilderness LODGE…they're talking about FORT Wilderness…

I think I have the ultimate solution to keeping commoners out of the GF lobby - or at least make they pay to use the amenities - put in PAY TOILETS! 😂

Idk even the finger sandwich eaters have to use the toilet at some point … don’t let them fool you

Correct and still advocating for a shutdown of access. If not permanently then at the very least during peak periods

Even if that meant a dramatic reduction in holiday decorations?

By extension Should the lobby, excluding monorail access, be limited to guests staying in the main building? Why should club level guests be subjected to the "unwashed" DVC group?

The slippery slope arguments are so ludicrous that it’s hilarious.

“If you don’t allow your lobby to be overrun by All Stars and Pop Century people then they might not allow you to go in there either Mr. and Mrs. Grand Floridian DVC guest.”

🤣

The Club Level guests literally have access to a space that the DVC and regular hotel guests do not have access to.

Riviera: Hey…. we are on the Skyliner…. We are the GRAND of EPCOT….. why doesn’t anyone want to visit us….. <insert crickets sound>
I’ve actually seen several family geared YouTubers talk about staying at Caribbean beach and requesting a room near Riviera to be closer to their restaurants, resort activities, and skyliner station.
