Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

No, no, I am still here! I just don't get much dis time on the weekends. Lovin the flashback photos.

The room at the Dolphin looks really cool. We'll have to look into that or the Swan sometime, the location really is great.

We were there in Sept 05 too, probably sometime around the 18th to the 25th. Stayed at All Star Movies.

Yay :yay:, you're still with me! :)

I love the Dolphin. We have stayed there a few times already. It's really a comfy resort and the location is perfect. We were probably at Disney at the same time in 05. :cool2:

This trip was a life time decision making experience. Sounds harsh but both Joe and I decided we would NEVER EVER again go to Disney between Christmas and New Year's. :scared1: OMG, it was so crowded that you could not move. Put it to you this way......me, the Disney freak, the one that would give up just about anything for a trip to the magic.....asked DH to get me the h-e-double-hockey-sticks HOME 3 DAYS EARLY!!!!!!!! :scared1:

I never got to see the Osbourne lights. Never got to see much of anything except for the back of other people. It was terrible. We called it the sea of people experience. Unreal. We did get to see a lot of holiday decorations and for that, I am thankful. I'd love to see them again but def during a different part of the season. OMG, that's all I can say.

We ended up calling Continental and getting seats to go home early. All they had was first class.......we took them. We just had to get out of there.

We stayed at POFQ. Very nice resort. We enjoyed it while we were there. I think it was the quaintness of it that we liked the most.

We also took a carriage ride this trip through the Port Orleans resorts. It was so beautiful.

We went to the Studios with the intention of staying to see the lights. Yeah, that didn't happen. Check out all these people. It was so dang crowded.

I did get to see the Christmas parade at DHS and was really happy about that!

Sine I only really have the weekends to DIS, I'm going to keep going with my flashbacks and my planning.

Tomorrow is the dreaded scale for me (weight watchers) and I have an appointment on Tuesday so I don't see myself getting back to my planning much next week. I'm sure going to try and squeeze it in though. :goodvibes

MK was wall to wall, or shall I say butt to butt during our trip in December 05.

The decorations were pretty though. I wonder what they do with all of the live stuff at the end of the season?

I've taken the backstage magic tour so I have seen the warehouse that they put all the fake stuff in.

I started my smooshed penny obsession this trip. No clue where we were when I did this one though. Adventureland I guess.
:confused3

I love the tree at DTD too.

We were lucky enough to book three trips in 2005. Interestingly enough, it was also the year that I had major surgery in October. We went in September as my "last hurrah" and then I rewarded myself, or at least I thought I did, with a trip in December.

2005 was a horrible year for our family too. I lost a cousin to cancer at age 50 and another cousin's husband was shot and killed in his own driveway by a police officer in October (long story....finally going to court in April 2010). It helped to be able to put things aside for a bit and to celebrate the magic that year...for sure.

I always wanted to see the Flower and Garden Festival. When I was a kid I was obsessed by flowers. In fact, that was my nickname when I was little. :lmao:

Joe took me to see the FG Festival in May 2006. We timed it so we were there for SW Weekend too. I have no clue how but from the pictures I could find, we must have done it somehow. I was thrilled!!!

We stayed at CBR, which is my FAV moderate of them all. I just love it there.

We also spent some time watching the fish. I remember it was hot and we were trying to escape the heat. I don't know why but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT hot in May.

These dudes scared the CRAP out of me when we got to what was then called MGM. :scared1:

We also managed to get over to MK too.

We had breakfast at Ohana for the first time during this trip. I learned something interesting. I asked our server why the eggs were so good there. I figured it was like all the other character breakfasts...same recipes, etc. She said nope, not here. The eggs have heavy cream in them! Sheesh, no wonder they were so dang good.

I nearly left. I was uncomfortable for the entire meal. :scared1:

I'm having fun with the flashback pictures. :cool2:

We have been doing the early morning CP breakfast for a few years now and have been able to get some awesome shots of the park empty. I wish there were other places that we could try too. We did CRT one morning as well but I'm not a fan of their food to be honest. :scared1:

Don't you love the F&GF? I do. It's so awesome.

Glad you are still with me.

There's always early morning for Princess Story Book at Epcot and Donalds Breakfast in AK, these would be pretty empty if you got an early reservation right? What could you do for DHS?

We've done both the Princess Breakfast and Donald's for "empty" park pictures. I think they have breakfast at Hollywood and Vine but at DHS but I can't remember for sure. I'll have to check it out though.

Ok I am stealing your idea off you. Am going to do Donald's Breakfast and Princess Storybook early for empty park pics :)

Hollywood and Vine is the JoJo Circus character breakfast isn't it?

It's amazing how much of this stuff I use. It sounds like a lot but it doesn't take up all that much room and comes in really handy.

So, what I am I missing??????? :idea::idea:

...and a partridge in a pear treeeeee!

McGuyver would be proud. I think I'm going to buy you one of those mullet wigs to put on while we are there. That way when someone needs something from McGuyver Manbag (TM) you'll already be in character....LOL.

I love doing the early am breakfasts just for the pictures. I think that it is JoJo at H&V which is why I have avoided going there but I really, really want park pictures!

The F&G festival is amazing. EPCOT is just stunning. I know that you will love it.

CBR truly is our favorite moderate. I think you will enjoy it. We have not stayed in a pirate room yet though. I wonder how they are?

The pirate rooms look sooo fun!! Wouldn't be too romantic for just my boyfriend & me but maybe when we have kids?? :rolleyes1

Just had a quick look at DHS restaurants and that is the only one that serves breakfast from 8am. Maybe you/we could get an 8am reservation, eat really quickly and then see if its possible to wonder around the park for empty pics ;) What do you think?
