Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

April 2007 was a very special trip, Joe and I took our nephew to Disney for the weekend for his birthday. Just the three of us. We stayed at AKL. We picked him up after school and headed for the airport. It was so much fun and I am so glad that we got to do this...just the three of us. The weekend was all about him. Whatever park he wanted to go to, whenever, etc.

We got him a couple disposable cameras and he was snapping away like mad.

We went to DTD to do some shopping. He wanted to take a picture of Fulton's for his mommy.

I just hope to be able to see Toontown one more time so this weekend I am going to see what I can find on line about the expansion and if there are any dates posted.

I am excited to see what they will do with the princesses too. I love Belle and can't wait to see what it will be like.

You must let us know what you find out :goodvibes

I will post whatever I find out.

I've always loved Belle best. She's awesome.

AKL is fun. We liked it there. My nephew was thrilled when we told him where we were taking him. He loved it! More pictures to come.

Our nephew really likes Epcot. He talked me into TT this trip. We had a great time.

We also spent some time at DHS. He loves LMA...BIG TIME!!! He humored me and saw BatB since he knows how much I like Belle. Even though this trip was all about him, he still wanted me to be happy too. Great kid!!

We spent a good deal of time at MK too. It was tough since we really just had the weekend but we managed to see quite a bit in a short period of time.

It was a great trip and a fantastic opportunity for Joe and I to spend some time with our nephew for his birthday.

I can't believe that I'm a little under a month away before it's time to make ADR's. I keep changing my mind and thinking of different places to eat. I guess it will come down to the day before it's time to make ressies for me to make our final choices.

Has anyone ever had someone on the phone and at the same time, making ADR's on line? I thought about doing that too. Might get confusing though. :confused3

Aww, sounds like a fun trip with your nephew. What a great surprise.

YAY for being close to making ADRs!

You could give it a try I suppose, no hard in trying right :)

Gosh less than a month til ADR's, you lucky thing. We still got six weeks.

Maybe make a one or two separate ADR lists, like one final list with your choices and then a second final list with different choices to the other one e.g. two or three restaurants on the second list that didn't make it on to the first one. Does that make sense?

That way you can look at each list and see which one you prefer/are drawn to :goodvibes

It was an awesome trip...just the three of us. I didn't know how he was going to feel about his mom not being there but he really had a nice time.

I've got a couple of lists going now. I think your idea is a good one...have the "back ups" so to speak ready to go.

I think that this is the most stressful part of the trip planning...the waiting on the ADR's and park hours.

Tell me about it, but once its over you can get onto the funner parts of planning :)

Hope the back up lists help when you are ready to narrow down your ADR's :)

Man, you guys are like the BEST aunt and uncle ever! I bet your nephew felt so special!

I am a little over a month to my ADR's too - time to make another Powerpoint!

Ooohhh, another PowerPoint presentation. :woohoo: I'm jealous. You need to do a WebEx or Live Meeting so we can all see. :lmao:

I have a bit of news...or what I hope to be news......

This weekend we went to Niagara Falls with great friends. (I will post pics and do a mini TR here).

Joe and I met our friends at Disney on our honeymoon. We had a great time with them there and have always wanted them to come back with us. On Friday night we asked them about coming back for the last weekend of our trip in September this year since we will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. One more thing.........we asked them if either one of them would get ordained on line so that we could have our own little vow renewal! :scared1: They were excited about the idea so we'll see what happens next. I know that Disney doesn't allow you to "do your own thing" so we would have to work out how we'd do this if it is a go. Either way, I am excited about it and I hope that they are able to join us for the last few days of our trip!

Oh wow that sounds exciting and would be a fabulous end to your Anniversary Trip :goodvibes

You must keep us posted :thumbsup2

Looking forward to hearing about Niagara :cutie:

Ooh, whats that? If its free to download, I'll try it!

What cool news about your friends coming along. A vow renewal would be cool!

WebEx is a program that allows you to do a presentation over the internet so lots of people can join. We use it at work so I have no clue if it is free or not but wouldn't that be cool???:woohoo:

I hope that our friends do come along for at least a long weekend!

I still need to post Niagara pictures here. Went to weigh in last night. Lost 1.6 pounds this week. Woo Hoo!!! :woohoo:

That's awesome! I'm starting my own fitness program this week. It's called "put the cookies down and step away from the fridge!" My goal is to lose 8 pounds. We'll see. Girl Scout cookies get delivered this weekend, so I'm probably a goner.
