Illuminations:

Wow, I love all of your pictures! They are getting me really excited for our trip in just 16 days!![]()
Lovely photos, I so wish we were there now
How was The Bounty Hunter? I Googled him and his show sounds interesting.
Did you get lots of pics?
Looks like you had a great day. What was he like?
Loving Joes man room and your cats are sooo cute![]()
We had a great day together. It was a bit cold out but that was okay since they allowed us to wait inside the store instead of out.
Dog was very nice. He took time to meet with everyone and at least exchange a few words. Beth was also very nice. They spent a lot of time with the children that were there. I was surprised as to how many were there actually. He stood to sign his books instead of sitting. It was nice because everyone could get all that much closer to him that way.
It's been hard for me to go on here since spring is normally the time of year I go to Disney. But I'm back and now I need to catch up on your plans!
Thought I had replied to this
Am glad you had a great time meeting Dog and awesome that you have a signed book from him![]()
Ok so I'm all caught up. I just moved back to Chicago for an internship so I liked seeing the Cleveland pictures you posted because believe it or not, I kind of miss it!
I'm SOOOO excited that you are doing Sanaa for lunch!! You will love it and I can't wait to hear what you guys think. Also, Ohana was so disappointing last time I was there but I love that place so much so hopefully when you get back you have good news about your meal! Request Cousin Gary for your server if you can, he was really good!
Hello!I have been reading your PTR tonight. WL--my dream resort! We will stay there some day, just not this next trip.
Hi! Nice to have you here with us!!! We love WL and are looking forward to our stay.
Pin Trading: would you mind sharing what eBay seller you used to buy pins? I think I want to try this with my DD on our upcoming trip. I know I want to go with some pins to trade since the pins in the park can be pricey.
I will ask Joe if he remembers and then send you a PM. I am so bad at that stuff.
The scrapbook pages are so great! TFS! I love scrapbooking too. I want order another set of maps this summer. I think I am going to wait until July to do it and see if they make any changes on their maps by then. Great idea about framing them.:
Thanks. I love to scrap. I need to get in gear though and finish last year's trip before this year's trip comes around!
I feel so bad for Jenn too--she was reading my PTR and I started hers.![]()
All I can say is. I can tell you though that she is really happy now and seems to be doing well.
Packing List: I have not been able to find the Dawn or any other Dish wipes in ages--are you still able to find them? I am planning on bringing our gorillapod too to help with fireworks shots. I love how your list is alphabetic!
Hmm, we still have the Dawn wipes here I believe. I can't remember the last time I got them but I do know that I got them from our local grocery store. I love the gorillapod but I did notice that depending on what you attach it to, it still moves around. For example, we attached it to the rail at the train station. Every time someone leaned up against it, it made just enough movement to destroy the shot! Ugh, it was painful. So I now look for places that will maintain total stability.
Yep, I always alphabetize my list. Dorky, but it helps me find stuff faster.
Have any MNSSHP tips for me? We are going for the first time on DD's birthday, after our dinner at 1900 PF.
My first tip would be to try and see the first parade to get all of your pictures. If you miss something (like me...the dang headless horseman for three years in a row) then you can always do the second one too. It is so easy to get on and off of rides, aside from Peter Pan for some reason, that you will be able to ride everything and not have to rush around. Also, the BEST place I have found to watch Hallowishes is at the Noodle Station. There are chairs there too so you can pull one up to the railing and set up your camera for a nice clean shot.
I love the flashback trips--what a wonderful set of memories you have! I would love to be able to go more frequently--hopefully DD, DH and I have a ball this next trip and we will strive to make it annually. Your nephew seems like such a character! What, may I ask, is in those cups from Goofy's?
Thanks. He is quite the character! I'm sure that you will have a great time. It's hard not to at Disney!
The cups from Goofy's are flavored slushies. They are awesome. I've only seen them at DTD. Nice and refreshing!
Have I missed you posting dates? I know we will be going in September and I am curious if you are willing to share them.
We're arriving on Sept 10th. I just fixed my ticker this morning. Do our days cross? If so, I'd love to see if we can meet up and say hi.
Joe is just seems like an amazing man and husband--I love all the surprises he has sprinkled into the trips. I bet he has something planned for this one too!!:
He is totally amazing. I lucked out!
ADRs: I realized too that we will get the gratuity added to most of our checks too--not that I am stingy, but I really want the others to pay for their share of the tip and not stick it to DH and I each time. Do you know if they can split it up amongst the party? If not, I guess we will divide the tip up by the number of adults per each meal when we hit 6+. We did not get lucky and get F! but we did get H&V. At this point, with how difficult it is to get a package, we were just happy to get one. Great choices!!
What they did last year for us when we had more than 6 in our party was that they did the checks based on KTTW cards and the # of people on each card. Joe and I had our check with the gratuity on it and mom had hers, etc. So they split it for us basically.
Not sure how hard it is to get a package now. This is the first time I got one at the place I wanted. It seems that when I call all that is left is a F! package at BD and I hate using 2 TS credits!
It was a tough year for ADR's for me. Soooo many places that we wanted to go back to or try new.
General Question: since you booked the bounceback trip for this upcoming trip I figure you will be able to answer my question if you are willing. HOw long is the offer good for? Can we travel at a different date? Like if we go in September, could we use a bounceback deal to go the following May?
I just so happen to have last year's flyer here. The dates for bounceback last year were 8/1/10 - 9/30/10 for the free dining offer.
We have always booked bounceback for September since it is our anniversary. I do watch though for specials at other times. Like last year when we went in May we got our room at POP for $64 a night! It was the AP rate. My brother stayed with us and they let him do a package that included his hopper pass on his card and our card was room only. I didn't know until that time that everyone did not need to be on the same plan.
Whew, I am all caught up! I hope to stay caught up from here on out.![]()
