Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

I really liked those villa photos -- so much that I started playing with DVC numbers again -- that cheetah carpet and the Lion King tiles in the shower -- how cute!

Pssssttt!!! Jackie........don't tell LL or TK, but where can I find these pics of AKV of which you speak??? :rolleyes1 Shhhhhhhhh!!!!

Augh! My binder is nekked! Either she's really embarrassed or she's an exhibitionist! :rotfl:

This is too funny!!! I almost choked on the strawberry I was eating!!!! NOT A NEKKED TRIP BINDER!!!!! OH THE SHAME!!!!

Um, dude.

The invisibility cloaking device you ATTEMPTED to use on that post didn't work. I'm on to you, SISTER!!! :lmao:

Wow!!! I'm shocked!!! I thought FOR SURE I would sneak that one past you............but I just want to sneak a peek..............I am SURE I will really only want to look...........................................I am still like 100% almost totally positive without a shadow of much doubt that I will stay at WL.........I think..........hee hee hee........:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I would hate to be a resort basher, but...

I'm just not into the Animal Kingdom Lodge. And having stayed at both, I would pick the Wilderness Lodge over it any day. For a few reasons, including but not limited to proximity to the Magic Kingdom.

But life is about phases. When I stayed there before I had DS, on a trip with just DH and I, we loved it and had a great time.

And we didn't eat there.

'Nuff said.

:lmao:

That induced snort-laughing.
And then choking as I'd just taken a sip of water.

Freakin' hilarious.

Leave it to me to bring on the funny! :lmao:

I am dying to know what you thought of Boma now, TK. I think I am going to have to start obsessing over my ADRS!

Your binder just cannot seem to make up her mind, can she? I'd say she'll be constantly changing outfits until 46 days out (:rolleyes1 ). I don't think it's too soon to start planning for 2010. I mean, come on, check my siggie. I'm planning for 2014 already. (Speaking of which, I wonder when they're gonna release park hours for that week  .)
I'm afraid I've been experiencing some Disney Withdrawals. :( All the empty space on my ipod was..."magically" filled up with Disney podcasts. I don't know how anyone can stand it!

She very well may be changing outfits everyday for quite awhile!

I have Disney Withdrawals every day. :lmao:

CP-I'm with everone else, it's not to early to start a 2010 trip binder!!

I gotta go find MickeyNiki's TR now...it sounds awesome!

I just don't want to forget anything that I have thought of so far.

It is awesome! She is having a fabulous stay at the AKL.

:rotfl:

CP, I don't know how you plan a trip in 8-12 mos. Seems as if you need at LEAST 2 years for each trip!

What's your sign, btw? I'd swear you were libran, after my own heart, the way you go back and forth.....:rotfl2:

Believe it or not, I am a Scorpio and very much a Scorpio except when it comes to resorts.

No, no, no! sweet sis, you've got it all mixed up.

Binder outfits are like shoes.

A girl can NEVER have too many. :goodvibes

I was kind of thinking along those lines myself. :lmao:

Augh! My binder is nekked! Either she's really embarrassed or she's an exhibitionist! :rotfl:

Just the laugh I needed today! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

AKL in All Its Glory!

Why, Jen, you almost sound like me! ;)

Freakin' hilarious.

I thought so too!

I can not WAIT for that review! It was breakfast, right?

Indeed. It was the meal they call breakfast.;)

I am dying to know what you thought of Boma now, TK. I think I am going to have to start obsessing over my ADRS!

I just have to chime in here and all. We have eaten at Boma for dinner twice and ate there for breakfast once -- we loved all our meals. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your breakfast, TK, but it may have been an off day in the kitchen. :goodvibes

As for not loving AKL, I am sorry to hear that, too, since I want everyone to love what I love. That's the wonderful thing about Disney, though -- there are so many resorts to fit every taste. :goodvibes

Remind me again CP, of what resorts you have stayed at.

And....I clicked on that AKL link. And I will admit. Sigh. That the pics of AKL decked out for Christmas are very pretty. Has anyone tried Jiko? Marc saw people eating at Jiko on one of the Travel Channel specials and he wants to try it. I haven't heard too much about Jiko so I was just wondering if anyone had opinions!? :goodvibes

We have stayed at the Polynesian, the Contemporary, POFQ, POR, Coronado, and Pop.

I have not eaten at Jiko's but after reading MickeyNikki's description of the filet that cuts with a butter knife, I am trying to decide if we want to do it this summer.

I have to join in here and say that I don't know what resort to stay at either. My dh was really fighting going to WDW in December so I compromised. I told him I would change our dates if we could stay deluxe when we go in May. He said yes so now I don't know where to stay. We are booked at WL right now but the more I look at AKL the more I want to stay there. Besides I really want to stay at WL during Christmas.

I just read about those too! I have to go cover the receptionist desk for the rest of the day and there is no internet down there so I emailed a bunch of dining reviews to myself to occupy my time! :thumbsup2

MickeyNicki's review has made me look into changing all my plans because of that filet at Jiko! If I do dlx ddp (which I would want to do if we were to go to signatures), I would have to forego parkhoppers, therefore change some plans and ADRs. I'm VERY seriously considering it!

I should just quit reading her report! :sad2:

I'm contemplating some changes due to MickeyNicki's report too! But, believe it or not... I'm thinking of changing from Boma to something else!

DH cannot eat anything spicy at all - and it seems like everything I read is curry or spiced, leaving little for him to try (and he LOVES food). Oh the pain of decisions!
