Got a nice surprise at work today!

It is coming up to the end of our holiday year in work and I was told today that I had one extra day I could use before the end of the year. So now instead of having to go in to work for one day on the Tuesday after Easter I have taken the day off.

That means I can have a lie in on the Tuesday, do online check-in and have a nice stress-free journey down to Gatwick to drop the bags off at twilight check-in before spending the night at the Sofitel.

Result, 8 working days and counting.
