Goodbye Nescafe coffee ... Hello Joffrey's

I always get good coffee at the stand right outside the exit to Tower of Terror. Is that Joffrey's?

Yup. The carts that say, 'Espresso, Tea and Pastries,' I think.

I'm more a fan of King Jaffe Joffer of Zamunda!

:lmao: Classic!

I'm a Nescafe fan, but I have to admit I'm really picky about which types I buy. I buy the single serve instant packets, and the only varieties I've found palatable are hazlenut and french vanilla. All the other kinds I've tried are gross. I've never had coffee in the parks, but I can imagine that the Nescafe they serve there is equally gross. Did I hear correctly that it's some kind of liquid concentrate? That doesn't sound appealing at all. The way everyone's raving about Joffrey's, though, I might have to give it a try.

*sigh* I will be the lone weirdo here....I really like the Nescafe. I like very mild coffee and that is just what it was. Pooh. Gotta bring my coffeepot with me now. :sad2:

I'm kind of with you. It may not have been the best coffee but it was disney coffee. Always let me know I was there. Ah we'll. I'll adapt.

Yup! Sure is...

The liquid is basically the same thing as in the packets just not taken to the final step which is drying it into a solid.

In the machines that they use(d) its just easier to use a liquid.

The Joffreys blend might be mild, since its to appeal to a lot of people. You never know..

easywdw reports that the default option will be the French Roast. I'm not sure if I"m allowed to link over to Josh's page, but it's stated in his 2/7 update.

For the first couple pages I thought this was going to be the first multi page thread EVER on the Dis where everyone is in agreement.

I was wrong.

With all the coffee threads on the Dis over the years this is the first one I ever recall someone saying they actually prefer Nescafe Instant Coffee.

I know. I shake my head. It's like a participating in a thread about how rude people are while waiting for parades and having a couple of people come along who sincerely feel that if they didn't have to fight for their spot, have their feet stepped on, etc., etc., that Disney just wouldn't be as magical for them! :confused3

What's so wrong with people having different tastes? It would be a pretty boring conversation if everyone ALWAYS agreed, wouldn't it?

Maybe you missed Bob's point. There is ALWAYS disagreement on multi-page threads. He thought this MIGHT be the one exception. It wasn't.

Yeah, I understood Bob's point, but I was actually responding to your comment. Re-reading what you wrote, I think I may have initially misunderstood what you were saying. It all makes more sense now. :)

What I find interesting is people saying that Nescafe is Disney coffee (and I suppose by extension tea). How is that Disney? Is it just that it's familiar and there's that old rebellion against change? I can relate to that because I tend to hate change too sometimes.

My father is going to be sooooo happy... "Nescafe!" has actually become a swear word in our family over the years and after many WDW trips.

Haha! :lmao: YES! In my family too! We do NOT say that word! ;)

Add me to the list of those glad to see this abomination end. Nescafe is just nasty.
