Golf in Orlando

[Clemson Bama Fan]

We are coming to Orlando this October and plan to stay at The Hard Rock Hotel. We want to play a round of golf in between park days. I see where Universal has partnered with several local golf courses for Resort guests. Has anyboby played MetroWest Golf Club, Orange County National Golf Center, or Mystic Dunes Golf Club? How would you rate them and why? Also, how do they compare to Disney courses? Any info is appreciated.

My parents have played the MetroWest golf course and thought it was very nice. It's the closest to Universal and it's a public course.

I've played all four courses (there are 2 different courses at Orange County). You won't go wrong at any of them. The closest is Metro. Orange County is a little drive but is awesome. It is where they hold Q school finals for PGA Tour. Mystic Dunes is a totally different course than you would expect in central Florida. Some of the most undulating greens I have ever seen, along with several deep pot bunkers. If you didn't know it you would think you were in Scotland.All of them are in excellent shape with all the amenities(GPS in carts,refreshments on course). All of them are on par with Disney if not better.
