LOL It seems like everyone I've met online who's from the Vegas area is in Green Valley! We almost ended up there. We found one house we liked a lot but before we could apply for it, someone else rented it.

So we ended up clear across the valley, up near Summerlin. It's in an area called Peccole Ranch. Have you heard of the Boca Park shopping center? Well, we are maybe 5 minutes up from there.

Morning, nighttime... all day. I am just most unpleasant to be around for the most part. I am gradually starting to feel better though, and dh is seeing that more and more I need a break, so he gave me an extra day for this trip. He is also wanting me to stay onsite, and rent a scooter, and REALLY take things slow. BUT... If I stay onsite I will get lonely, and if I rent a scooter... I fear I will leave DL damaged beyond repair. I do NOT want to be the woman who killed Disney!

I am gradually starting to feel better though, and dh is seeing that more and more I need a break, so he gave me an extra day for this trip. Aww, that sucks. I totally feel for ya. Been there, done that. I had it so bad I had to have a home health care nurse come out to the house to give me IVs so I wouldn't get dehydrated. It was a nightmare. But it ended eventually and I felt human again, as will you.

That's so sweet he offered to let you stay on-site!! Did you mention you don't want to be lonely and you'll need rooms for about 40 of your closest friends to support you and keep you company?

The scooter might be a good idea though. At least part of the time. Just remind me not to walk in front of you.

I am lucky....I didn't get morning sickness. Maybe next time..

I was pregnant when we went to DL in April 04. I was only 2 1/2 months along and my feet and ankles swell so bad that I couldn't even walk. I am sure you will be fine...but a scooter may save you some pain. I hope you have a great time and take lots of sit-down breaks. I am sure you know all this....sheesh, you already have kids!

I need to order the shirt through Capri...that is not the my snafooo!!! My confusion is what days did we plan to wear the shirts????? I will be there Thursday thru Goofy's kitchen. Do I need both shirts?

I leave tomorrow for a Veterinary conference in Ohio...so I need to get my ducks in a row before I leave!!!! Thanxs for the help!!! Amy

Hi Amy....I think we're wearing Capri's shirts on Sat. and the brown/pink ones on Friday.....anyone correct me on that thought? Capri had mentioned that she could hand them out on Friday, leading me to believe they are for Sat.....
When will you be back from the conf? Have a ton of fun!

Yes, IVs. I think because I had the twins in made it worse. I was sick with all 3 pregnancies but that one was beyond anything I'd been through.

Luckily it was only for about 2 weeks that I had to do that. The rest of the time I just had to tough it out and I was on anti-nausea meds. I did end up in the ER twice and admitted once.

We also had to temporarily move in with my MIL because I was so sick and weak I could not take care of a 3 yr old and 5 yr old on my own.

Let me tell you, if that had been the first pregnancy I had, instead of my 3rd, I NEVER would have had more kids. LOL

Hi Amy. Yes, you order the tee through Capri. The ones Callie is working on, she's not ready for us to order yet.

We said we'd wear the tees on Friday for sure. But you know, we never did say which tees, on which days.

If Capri did say she's hand hers out on Friday, then I guess we'll be in Callie's tees on Friday and Capri's on Saturday. (how confusing, lol)

If you are leaving right after Goofy's Kitchen then personally I'd just order the one tee. You won't have the other one on long enough to really make it worth while, unless you just really like the other tee and want it anyways.

OK, I'm not sure that helped or made things worse. Maybe you should PM Capri and/or Callie and see what they say on when to wear which. I don't think it matters to most of us.

So did I sound desperate or frantic? I am trying to tie all my loose ends before I leave tomorrow. I will be gone Wednesday thru my return on Monday. My DH never complains, but I do try to leave things as organized as possible so things go smoothly. We have "zillion pets that I usually care for..so add that to some more responsibilities with the DD, he is one busy man!

I have been going to the Midwest conference since Vet School..went to Ohio State..so I do have a BLAST!! I stay with some darling friends and play for four days. Also get the whole nostalgia thing going with being in Columbus and seeing the OSU campus and all!!

Last year my DD got strep throat while I was gone, so leaving him with a slightly ill cat that needs medicated is nothing..right?

What you said about the shirts jived with what I remembered, so thank thank thank you!!

Now I must get back to laundry/packing/shopping/ etc!!! Amy

Well, here's the problem with the Friday idea . . . my friend and I won't be flying in to SNA until Friday morning so that would mean I would need to ship the shirts prior to the trip (which would be an extra expense) if y'all want to wear them on Friday. I'd be happy to do it, but want to make sure everyone is willing to pay for it. If I sent them in a priority mailer, it would be an extra $3 or so. I'm sure I could include the lanyards in that mailer as well.
