Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Well, here's the problem with the Friday idea . . . my friend and I won't be flying in to SNA until Friday morning so that would mean I would need to ship the shirts prior to the trip (which would be an extra expense) if y'all want to wear them on Friday. I'd be happy to do it, but want to make sure everyone is willing to pay for it. If I sent them in a priority mailer, it would be an extra $3 or so. I'm sure I could include the lanyards in that mailer as well.

Callie: if people do decide they want them shipped you could ship them to my office (which is near DL) -- I am planning on going Thursday night so could coordinate getting them handed out.

Sounds like a plan to me! I'll have my car and will be going over to Hojo's around 3 p.m. or so on Thursday so hopefully can meet up with the gals who are there then.

My life is in turmoil again so I probably will only be checking in once or so a day. Today's my DD's birthday so I'm trying to stay positive and happy for her .

Actually, I will be arriving on Thursday and had planned to hand out most of the shirts on Thursday afternoon/evening at the HOJO (or Friday morning at the HOJO before the ladies head out for the day). For the rest of the ladies that aren't getting in on Thursday, I was either going to ship them to the ladies in advance, or leave them at the front desk of the HOJO.

(I'm pretty sure I said that in the PM I sent everyone about the shirts. )

Hi Amy....I think we're wearing Capri's shirts on Sat. and the brown/pink ones on Friday.....anyone correct me on that thought? Capri had mentioned that she could hand them out on Friday, leading me to believe they are for Sat.....

Just wanted to confirm that I said I would hand out the shirts Thursday evening at the HOJO (or Friday morning for those that didn't pick up their shirt on Thursday evening before turning in for the night).

As far as what shirt to wear on what day, I'll leave that up to the group to decide (or maybe what is easiest and/or more convenient for Callie). All I know is that on Friday and Saturday, our group is going to look PHAT!!!

I'd be happy with McD's, the Plaza Inn and Popcorn! I'm a counter service groupie when there are rides to go on. It's all about saving time while I eat so I can get another ride in. rofl

Now if I could go sit down and eat after the park closes at Midnight, I'm all for killing time while we relax before bed. Pancakes at 1am anyone???? There's a Denny or something near by, right? It would be 24 hours, right, special just for us coming down.

Yes, Denny's is across the street-- 24 hours I've had a few late night meals at Denny's (and McDonald's). Got too busy in the park and forgot to eat, watching my children falling asleep into their plates is extremely amusing.

I'm flying in on Thursday afternoon and handing out tees that evening, so if it's easier for the ladies to wear the Martini glass shirt on Friday, and the Divas shirt on Saturday, then that would be fine. I know some of the ladies will not be there on Friday, so I guess they won't have to order the martini glass shirt unless they just really like it.

(But it's whatever you babes want to do. I'm just going with the flow on what shirt you ladies want to wear on whichever day.)

Well, it doesn't matter to me but it just seems like it will be easier to wear yours on Friday since you'll be able to pass them out on Thursday.

I think the martini glass would be fun and funky to wear walking around on the tour. And the Divas to wear Saturday to the Food and Wine events. Just a thought.

OFF TOPIC

So I'm reconsidering the Disney cruise in 2009 and thinking of doing Hawaii instead. I think it may be a bit more affordable and it removes the whole WDW dilemma for me.

So, do we have any Hawaii experts among us? I was thinking Maui, but then I found this INCREDIBLE condo on Kaui. Flying is still SUPER expensive from Phx. Wondering if there are any deals to be had on flights and if anyone has a great place they regularly stay? I've posted several other places and done tons of research already, just thought I'd throw this at all you ladies and see if anything new comes my way. . .
