Howdy all!

Well, it doesn't matter to me but it just seems like it will be easier to wear yours on Friday since you'll be able to pass them out on Thursday.

I think the martini glass would be fun and funky to wear walking around on the tour. And the Divas to wear Saturday to the Food and Wine events. Just a thought.

I was thinking the martini glass for Friday too. I even talked others into wearing the martini one that day. rofl I figured it would stand out better for the CMs to find for the tour and the special seating things we have.

I think I have decided to just order the martini glass now. However, that could change by the time Callie tells us she is ready to put the order in.

Dang, what else was a I going to post. Drat, old age is catching up to me as usual. Oh well, I can always post it later.

OFF TOPIC

So I'm reconsidering the Disney cruise in 2009 and thinking of doing Hawaii instead. I think it may be a bit more affordable and it removes the whole WDW dilemma for me.

So, do we have any Hawaii experts among us? I was thinking Maui, but then I found this INCREDIBLE condo on Kaui. Flying is still SUPER expensive from Phx. Wondering if there are any deals to be had on flights and if anyone has a great place they regularly stay? I've posted several other places and done tons of research already, just thought I'd throw this at all you ladies and see if anything new comes my way. . .

Darn, when I saw the title "Hawaii anyone?" I thought that's where the next Girls Only Trip was going to be!!

Sorry, I don't have any advice for you. Never been. Have you tried posting those questions on the Community Board? I bet you'd get lots of answers there.

Kind of off topic here but I was wondering if any of you participate in the exchanges on the Community Board?

I love doing exchanges, and have hosted a few. Anyway, I'm going to be hosting a flip-flop exchange over there starting March 1st.

I also love flip-flops!! LOL

So I just thought I'd post this in case any of you are interested in signing up. I'll post again once sign ups start.
And if we get some ladies from the trip, I will try to match you up together so you can send to each other.

They are soooo addicting, and I always end up sending way too much stuff but it's fun to do! I remember once I was signed up for 5 exchanges at once.

My favorite is the Christmas stocking one. Kids always get stockings from Santa , but the grown-ups are left out so it's kind of fun to get one.

Sometimes people sign up for an exchange but then for one reason or another don't send a package out. It doesn't happen often but it does happen.

So an elf is someone who would volunteer to sign up to send out another package in a case like that. That way everyone who sent one out, is sure to recieve one in return.

I've signed up to be an elf just once before, but luckily in that exchange it wasn't needed as everyone sent like they were supposed to.
The thing about being an elf is that if you are called on, you have to send out another package and not everyone can afford to do that, kwim?

I hope that made sense. LOL

ETA: Most of the exchanges are hosted by Meriweather and Mommytotwo, and they are both super sweet ladies and very welcoming to anyone new.

I am certainly not a Hawaii expert but have been to Maui, Oahu, The Big Island, Kauai and Lanai (in that order) over the years. Let me know if you need any help with planning.

T-shirt update:

Well ladies, I talked to CustomInk yesterday about our lime green Mickey Heads on our shirts. I received a call back today, and we won't be able to have the Mickey Head on our shirts (which I kinda thought would be the case). She said not only could they get in trouble, but so could the DisBoards for using an "actual" Disney image to advertise their website.

So, I can just leave the back of the shirts blank which will shave a dollar or two off the cost for everyone, depending on how many are ordered. (I already took the back design off in the link I PMed everyone regarding shirt orders.)

Or I could put something else back there if you all really want something on the back.

Anyone want to offer me any feedback about this?

I would vote for "blank"--not necessarily for the cost--but for the hassle of figuring out something else--don't want to cause more work for you!

I think blank is fine. I don't know about everyone else but my hair would probably cover it anyway.
