Just want to say, I am eagerly awaiting the results. To be honest I don't care which date we go, I just want to start planning this puppy. Oh and wish me luck... I am going to finally throw out the whole idea to DH this weekend.

Ok, that's weird, I know I replied to this and now I can't find my reply!

My reply said that I was hoping May would pull ahead because traditionally the last weekend of April is the last day for the Southern California two-fer deal. It makes DCA very very crowded (if you can imagine that). I've been there during that time and it isn't much fun.

Regardless of which dates win, I'll be happy to come hang out with my fellow crazy lady Disers!

Now, this was all info I got online. None of them are with any discount such as AAA or the entertainment code or a group rate, so they could go cheaper. I just wanted to have a starting point.

These were the main off site hotels that have been talked about so far. If anyone has another they'd like to consider, just let us know.

I also think it would be fun to hang out by the pool after we do the parks, talk, drink, etc. And the Desert Inn's pool isn't very nice. It's indoors and just kind of blah.

The pool areas at the Candy Cane Inn and HoJo are much better. (I think CCI's is actually the best) So that might be something to keep in mind too. Not a deal breaker, just a thought.


I have to say.....I can't wait to book something!!! Anything!!

I personally am in favor of HoJo b/c I liked it and it's my comfort zone (I liked it more than PPH if you can believe it). But I'm willing to break out.

If I don't chicken out. DH is practically pushing me out the door for this...I think he wants me to walk. By april I'd be there!

How many times have you been to Disneyland, WDW or any of the other Disney parks?

I personally am in favor of HoJo b/c I liked it and it's my comfort zone (I liked it more than PPH if you can believe it). But I'm willing to break out.

Hi Heather! I've been to WDW 3 times. But I grew up going to Disneyland. And since we've had APs before, there's no telling how many times I've been there. LOL It will always be my favorite place in the world.

I'm cool with HoJo's but not at that price. But that's just me.

If it's going to be the above price, I'd rather pay less and stay at CCI which looks prettier to me and has a free breakfast.

BUT if we can get some kind of discount then I'd be willing to try HoJo. So I guess it depends on the price.....
