3. If money were not an object, what would you do with your life?I'd build a dream home for my parents and I'd also travel more and buy an Aston Martin or Lamborghini!

6. What is the weirdest thing you will ever admit to having done in the past? In junior high my friends and I went on a "turkey hunt" with our school. It was basically a scavanger hunt but each group had a teacher or parent drive us around to collect clues. We had to go to different locations and find people who we thought or knew were from our school and say: "Gobble Gobble Gobble, give me the next clue!" You should have seen some of the reactions we got from people.....priceless!

7. What song best describes you when you first wake up in the morning? I'm always rushing so maybe Step In Time from Mary Poppins!


8. What place in the US would you most like to visit? Why? Prince Edward Island in Canada. I've always been a fan of Anne of Green Gables and it looks like a beautiful place to visit!

My name is Melody, and I probably have you all beat on the age thing. I'm 51, and celebrated my 30th anniversary this August. But I still love to have fun, and like all the rides except, Maliboomer, Tea Cups, and the Evil Gondolas!!

I just wanted to tell you that my DNiece just got a job for casting for the "Amazing Race." I've never seen it................guess I better now. Anyways, she's very excited, and gets to go all over the world!

I did vote on the poll, and hope to go with all of you.

Oh, and I'm also part of the Untitled DL Chat Thread. I loved the breakfast spread you brought us. Can you visit us again, and bring dessert this time?

Either Costco or Target!! You can get a little of everything at both. It would probably take me less than 3 hours

TRAVEL!!! and help out people less fortunate than me.

Orlando Bloom. I love him as an elf in "Lord of the Rings". My kids even bought me an action figure of him a couple years ago.

I haven't read a full length book since my kids were born, but I do enjoy the Harry Potter series

Once I get to know you all better, I'll have plenty of stories to tell about myself

YAY! Another Target fan. I am so addicted to that store. (see my tag) I can NEVER seem to walk out of there with less then $50 worth of stuff and it's usually when I only went in for one thing.

Star Tours. Only been on it once, this last trip. I was having a problem with "my" roller coasters, decided to go on ST, and fell madly in love. I far prefer a simulator to an actual coaster, it turns out! For DCA, all I can think of right now is Monsters...but we didn't go on much outside bug's land when there.

2. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be and how long would it take you to spend the $10,000?

Right now? It would go towards camera equipment and thousands of prepaid, quality, photo prints. Don't know what one store, though.

3. If money were not an object, what would you do with your life?

Basically doing it now, but I would travel while doing it.

Eddie Izzard.

Impossible to pick! I re-read the Harry Potter series twice while nursing DS in the early days (before he realized what I was doing and started protesting), I read mysteries from the library like I drink coffee...every day, and every so often I pick up a "serious" book. Right now I have about 10 "how to deal with 3 year olds" books checked out...

can't think of one. haven't had coffee yet. I know it's late, stop judging me for not going to the kitchen for it yet. Too tired.

Can't choose just one! Want to visit Hawaii, go to Alaska again (fell madly in love with tiny little Skagway on our honeymoon cruise), am yearning to visit Yellowstone and Grand Canyon as an adult, want to visit Miami again, DC is calling my name...

Ireland, as always. But this time I want to include other countries, so a carefully formed, Rick Steves-inspired, trip in Europe is working its way into our future plans. Visiting DH's family in Korea is also on the list

You need to buy those entertainment books that are good for your area. At least I think that's how. lol I'm new to this part. But I do have one of those books, so if we end up there, then I'm good to go.

Anyone of you HOJO experts happen to know off hand what amenities they have? Free breakfast? Fridge and/or micro in room? Shuttle? Thanks!

Oh, and as for a theme drink, lol, I have no clue.

Here's my confession, I really don't drink.
I'm not opposed to it, I've just never found a drink I like. I've tried and tried to become a drinker but so far, no luck.

Although, I recently tried a Fuzzy Navel and it wasn't bad! So maybe there's hope for me yet.

So if you don't drink, don't worry, you aren't alone. And if you do, don't worry. We'll make sure you stagger back to your room safely.

Thanks Beth, I thought it was those. I just wasn't sure if our books linked up with US hotels or not. I took a quick look and there seems to be something about them.

As for not drinking, me neither. I just like the fact that your trips always seem to have one and then a very cool "logo" to go with it.

Just an FYI ladies, right now the April and May trip dates are tied at 6/6, so it could still go either way for those who had a preference. I don't, but I know some did.

When I was in high school, I lived in Michigan, where people ski! A friend and I didn't ski, but we wanted to meet guys so we got into a whole ski outfit, borrowed someone's ski boots and went to the ski lodge. We never went skiing though, we didn't bring skis with us.
