Hi January!! We did! It was so nice to have the crowds so low. Although it kind of sucked that they canceled the Electrical Parade on Saturday night. I was hoping to see it.

Anyway, how are you?? And Maddie? Feeling better?

I can understand the orange taste not being good. I haven't had a tigger tail b/c they are marshmallow and that's not veggie, but they just don't look appetizing. Now...covered in chocolate and drizzled in orange I might have to drool, but not how they are. I kept going in to the Pooh candy place, wanting to get something that looked good, but I never bought anything because none of it looked worth the calories or cost!

My DH got some other things that were good. A truffle of some sort and something with toffee on it. I can't remember what they were called, and it was dark out when we were eating so I'm not even sure what all it was he ordered. LOL

I've gotten some very delicious chocolate, carmel, praline pretzles there. yummy! The candy apples also look good- but you'd need a knife. I don't think I could take a bite out of one of those. My mouth just wouldn't open that wide.

Ok, marshmallows aren't veggie? Whatever are they made of? (If it's anything like dole whip I probably don't want to know...)

Marshmallows are made with gelatin, like Jello and other things like that. sniffle sniffle.

On the other hand, marshmallow cream is gelatin-less. Doesn't taste the same, but makes an interesting s'more in a pinch.

Have you heard of the new Disney CMO Dream Job contest from Career Builder? Well, my dh worked for 2 weeks on an application video. The deadline was today at 9 pm. We started attempting to upload our application with video before noon today. We were well within the timeline and space requirements on our video. The site was so busy and slow that our video was never accepted!!!! We attempted for over 8 hours today to get the thing uploaded but the site kept timing out and giving us errors -- and now we missed the deadline.

I'm trying to keep this in perspective, but you all know that my dh is a creative, and all his hard work is just wasted now. I think I'm most sad that no one will ever see it.

If I can get him to upload the video somewhere, would you all look at it? I realize we probably didn't really have a chance to win it, but I am still disappointed that we weren't even given the chance to be included.

Hi Callie. I have to say I've never heard of that, but I am so sorry that happened to you guys. Man, that really sucks to miss out through no fault of your own.
I'm sure that must have been very frustrating for you both. And I would love to see what he did. Sounds like he poured alot into it and I know we'd all like to see it if he's willing to share!!

Molly, oh girlfriend I know exactly how you feel! I HATE flying!!!! I still do it of course, and I always pretend around my little boys that it's just FUN & GREAT, but ever since DH and I and my brother had a horrible, scary flight, I just don't like it anymore. When I say scary.....I mean SCARY!!! I won't describe it though, cause I don't want to freak anyone out. But all I could do was just forge ahead. Get back on the horse, ya know?! I know.....that's easier said than done, but ya still gotta do it.

Callie, I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling ill. I hope you're feel better this evening. And I would be completely frustrated about not being able to upload your hubby's video for the Dream Job contest! That would tick me off, there's no doubt about it! I wonder if a ton of people were uploading videos today because it was the last day of the contest, and that's why you weren't about to get through?

I would write a nice letter to the site and explain your situation. You spent 9 hours trying to upload to the site, but their servers could not accommodate all the last minute entries.

I went to disneyshopping.com and saw this top....I may have to get it for the trip.

Geesh, our school district (Mead) actually cancelled school today. I don't remember the last time they cancelled.....I think it was during Ice Storm, which was like 12 years ago.

Also, a Southwest 737 was landing at Spokane International Airport yesterday afternoon, and it ended up doing a complete 180 on the runway right after touching down! No one was hurt, but a few of the passengers that were interviewed said it was scary!

If anyone was coming to the Spokane area today, don't, because the whole city is basically closed.....every school, every university, and even City Hall is closed.

I saw that on the news last night! I would have been so scared if I was on that plane. I am not a good flyer to begin with.
