well thought I should read the thread to catch up boy this group is full of chaty people :lmao: In only 12 days the thread is only at page 39 still have ummmmm say over a hundread to read:goodvibes

I will get there soon I hope but you all seems like so much fun.

I know, we talk alot! Some of us have big mouths! (or sore fingers)

You'll probably be all caught up just by reading the last few pages. No sense in reading all our jibber-jabber during our prehistoric period, and if you go back too far it's practically like trying to read hieroglyphics:goodvibes

I'm so glad you're coming! Did you get your passport?

Early Evening Ladies!

Anyone wonder if Beth and her hubby had anything to do the with fire at MGM and that's why they got out of town fast??? :p (yah know I'm kidding right)

I'm all for the cheap meals and sitting around at tables for meals. I think I might do either the Goofy Breakfast or whatever is finally decided for Sunday night. (if I like the menu...that's a big thing with me) I love counter service, McDonald's, IHOP or whatever. I'm really not a big eater so sit down is mostly for the company and not the meal.

I planning on catching up with you Ladies on the Thursday for the drinks at UVA for an hour or so. The Jazz Kitchen menu didn't grab me as a must do. Hopefully someone can text me or we can have a set time to try and meet over there.

When I arrive on the Thurs I hope to register, ditch the luggage and hit the park. Then maybe a nap, dinner and find you gals. But plans are meant to be changed!!!!

yes got passport pics today so sending it off early this week. ROFL I like cheap meals means I can buy more souvenirs :)

Hubby was trying to figure out how much I would need and he kept saying now remember you need to eat. When we go to WDW I could go most of the day never eating poor guy has to remind me he is hungry lol.

Now we can not smile on passports pics it looks like I got an arrest photo taken. :lmao:

Yes might need a nap too for a couple of hours after sometime in the parks.

It is 3 hours difference. This will be my first trip without my hubby and he was go have you booked the plane tickets yet. We do everything together. But ever since I needed to use a scooter for long distance he say you have lost a lot of you independance so wants me to get it back.

Says if anything happened to him what would I do. If you are reading hummm No way he is having an affair.

1) works with all guys.
2) we are with each other to work and going home.
3)Hates to talk on phone
4) Will not even play virtual magic kingdom why because hates to talk to people rofl.
5)next he likes disney mostly the cruises not a fan of the parks so if I go he doesn't have to :)

Oh and anyone shopping near me should wear contruction boots. I am great everywhere but the stores my eyes catches something and I tend go that direction but my hubby has gotten used to it only ran over his foot once the last time :lmao:

Okay, anyone have a picture of porno construction boots? Where's Beth when you need her?!:rotfl:

YAY!:cheer2:

I so hope you can join us for some of the Diva activities! That would be AWESOME! Since you're going to be there at the same time, I added you to my official "Ladies Only Trip" list of attendees.:thumbsup2

(Except you're the rebel who's bringing non-ladies with her! ;) )
Oh, thankyou thankyou thankyou! :yay:

It seems like quite a few of you will be in the parks tomorrow I might have to pull out my Dis board hair falls if the weather is ok for tomorrow!

Think good thoughts Disney trips have brought bad pet luck lately. I want a good DL trip you hear that kitties!!!

We had fallen to page 2!!!!! We can't have that.

Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday since you've all been too busy to post the highlights of your day.

Catch ya'll on Monday!

I've been sick in bed all day. No highlights, unless you consider a major headache and sinus pressure exciting. Thank goodness for the laptop!

Me too. I've spent the past 2 days in bed. I still feel horrible. I'm off tomorrow and hoping I'll feel better by then. Hope you feel better soon.

Steph

Greetings all!!! I just got over a horrible cold. I was sick for 2 weeks. Biggest update--- I think I going to quit my job and be a SAHM in six months and go back to school. I want to feel proud of what I do and like I am making a positive impact on the world. I want to around for my kids more.

It is raining hard here today. Poor kids are going stir crazy having to stay in side.

HI ladies!! This is just a real quickie!! I'm checking in from Disneyland!!! :cool1:

My DH woke up this morning and said "Let's go!" so I threw things in a suitcase and here we are!! LOL

I'll be home on Sunday. See ya then!!

Woman! Oh I wish I had known, I would have looked out for you.

Okay, anyone have a picture of porno construction boots? Where's Beth when you need her?!:rotfl:

I don't have a picture, but I saw a very goth-looking woman in line for tickets yesterday. The heels were stacked/platform, probably 3 inches tall, and they went up to her knees, with big laces and such. They weren't *heels*, just a platform, and would have been great for keeping your tootsies out of the way of rogue scooter drivers!

(I used to wear platform heels with strappy-straps for dancing. Kept my feet from being stomped on.)

My solo trip was incredible.

But now I'm terrified to fly. :scared: The flight back, on Alaska, was awful the whole way home. Luckily there were only 40 people on board, and I was towards the back, and could sing to myself (small world and tiki room) to soothe my fears, without bothering anyone.

So I'm going to have to work on that...either that or be like our recent thread addition and bring her family but sneak away. Alas, that would mean going a month *before* DS's b'day, which he might not appreciate. Gotta work it out in my head.

Oh you poor thing! I feel for you. Not a good way to travel solo for the first time.

I've really only ever had one bad flight for turbulence. It was Feb of last year going to WDW. That seemed to be the theme of the trip, the ladies who flew in from Cali had it even worse.

I was seriously thinking of other modes of transportation home! I could get a ride as far as SC and then I'd have had to take a bus or a train. rofl It was a full plane, lots people making "noise" and the men sitting beside me were of NO HELP, they slept. What are strangers for other than to console you during turbulence??? I was never so happy to get out of a plane.

Here's :wizard: so that all our travels in April are fast and without any turbulence/traffic/challenges.

Good morning, ladies!

TGIF!!! I am soo glad! This has been the LONGEST week evah! I did not work at all this week. I am still sick. Maddie is sick, too. She is home with me and we have been laying around like slugs. I am anxious to get out!
I'm sorry you're sick! I hope by now you are feeling better. Both of you.

Beth ~ Here is a link to the AP Dining Pin for Jan/Feb: http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/pin?id=31202

Oh, and it's still raining here, but it doesn't really bother me.
Thanks for that info! I'll have to see what it says. :thumbsup2

Hello everyone! I haven't been here in a long time, things have been hectic!

I am not 100% sure that I am going to be able to go. :( We haven't renewed our AP's, and I am not sure if we will be able to before April. I am trying really hard though.
Oh no. Well, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that it works out for you and you can renew in time and still come with us. :wizard:

Belle1997 is part of the Califgirl/Chris, 4Fosterkids/Jill, wdwr/Shelley, Dagny and Lauren troop.
Oh cool, thanks!

No, fair! I wanna go, too!!!!

That would be cool if Beth spotted Molly at DL. I am really missing that place right now.:sad1: Beth, have a Tigger Tail for me.popcorn::
:rotfl: I wish you could have come! That would have been fun.
Oh, and I tried my first Tigger Tail. Ummmmm, yuck. :rotfl: Sorry to say, I didn't like it at all. (don't hurt me!!)

:rotfl2: Thank God for the porno rain boots!!
I got your back ladies! :thumbsup2

Hi, ladies! My family trip worked out to include the same weekend you all are having the Ladies Only trip. WOOHOO!!! :woohoo:

Thanks to all the arm-twisting from Tinkermell and persuasive arguments from the other hyenas. :rotfl:

I am not sure of our itinerary, but am hoping I can sneak away for some Diva activities. Can I be an honorary Disneyland Diva? :flower3:
Of course!!! That's wonderful news!! :woohoo:

Have a great time--wish I could run over and meet you (but I'm working!)

Maybe when I meet you in April you can tell me how to find a guy who would wake up and say "let's go to Disneyland!" Mine can take it or leave it.
:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Anyone wonder if Beth and her hubby had anything to do the with fire at MGM and that's why they got out of town fast??? :p (yah know I'm kidding right)
I knew I left something on when we left!! :headache:

Okay, anyone have a picture of porno construction boots? Where's Beth when you need her?!:rotfl:
:rotfl: Um, those might be hard to find. :lmao: Maybe you can borrow hers. That was the best I could do. :rotfl:

Oh you poor thing! I feel for you. Not a good way to travel solo for the first time.

And what's even more pathetic is that I should be used to traveling alone, it's what I did for 30 stinkin' years before meeting DH. OK so I wasn't traveling alone until I was 18. But still. There's pre-family and post-family, and it seems I have a bigger problem with the idea of a plane crash now with my munchkin around (and a very sensitive DH), vs before. On the way to Anaheim it was bumpy, but broken into two flights, so more bearable. And I thought "is this worth it, is this trip worth the risk" (even though I know that flying is much much safer than a mile drive to the grocery store), and once I was at DLR I thought it was...but then going home it just all sucked. :( And it wasn't even *bad* turbulence, it's just that it was relentless.

Beth, that picture is hilarious.

You know the whole Ugg thing? And wearing them with little skirts and such? At DLR yesterday I saw a man wearing boots like that with longer jean shorts. :confused3 :lmao:

I'm sorry to hear you were sick. But glad you are better now.

Congratulations on being able to stay home!! That's wonderful news. And school too. Good for you for going after what you really want. :thumbsup2

Hey there, I was on the look out for you but no luck. :confused3

I'm glad you had a great time though! Sorry about your flight. That sucks. On my way back from our WDW ladies only trip, I had a BAD flight as well.
It was late at night, the plane was almost empty, and I was sitting all alone. It was so bumpy and rough the flight attendants had to stay strapped in. I was in tears and vowed never to fly again.

But of course that's not realistic and I just think of all I'd miss out on if I never flew again. Hopefully it was a fluke and you won't have anymore flights like that whether you are with your family or not. :wizard:

I understand about the flying. Really I do. You just have to go with what feels best for you.

I saw so many girls with short skirts and then those Ugg boots. I guess that's the in thing now. :confused3 Ummm, I missed the guy though!

Well hello ladies! I think I am finally caught up.

I hope those of you that went to DL this week-end had fun. We got back around 2 this afternoon since my DH had to work tonight.

I so wish I could have met up with some of you!!!! I kept looking at everyone for any signs of lime green or any familiar faces! But no luck.

We had a great time. Got there Friday late afternoon, and we must have missed any rain. The ground was wet but we never felt more then a few drizzles. We were at DL that night.

Did anyone see the commercial they were shooting?
We were able to hit lots of rides since the crowds were low. Like I said, I tried my first Tigger Tail, but I didn't care for it. (ducks) I think it was the orange taste to it.

Saturday we were at DCA all day, then DL at night. The lines were so short cause it did start to rain that night. We were able to do Alice, Nemo, Peter Pan, and Matterhorn with little to no wait, and those lines are usually always so freakin long!!

It was my first time on Nemo. I'd been on the old Submarine ride though, and I always did fine. I guess I must be getting old or something, because I did not like feeling closed in!! The ride was cute, but I won't be doing it again. LOL

Anyways, I hope everyone had a nice week-end whatever your plans were. :)
